This place is unbelievable. The food changes with the seasons, and Chef Kim does an incredible job finding the right mix of savory staples and unique concepts. Also, the cocktails are top notch.
Outstanding tasting menu from Kim Aster. Came here for a birthday and they truly made it a special occasion . Probably one of the best tasting menus I’ve ever had. Definitely worth checking out!
A "two minute quail egg " topped with brown butter hollandaise and snuggled into a nest of fried leeks starts things off, with subsequent dishes showing off California produce at every turn. Read more
Terrific special occasion restaurant with high end locally sourced inventive food in a fixed price menu. It’s expensive but worth it. Don’t bother with French Laundry reservations . Go to Nightbird.
A+ service, rotating menu concepts, attached bar with delicious cocktails , great for nice date or birthday
On the expensive side as it's a full tasting menu , but hands down my favorite restaurant in the city .
They only serve a 125$ tasting menu . The food was solid but portions are very small. Service was very good! Not sure if I would really recon it, for the money you can do better (offer glutenfree menu)
Tasting menu was good. Definitely lighter than most so plan accordingly.
Overall good but value / innovativeness pales in comparison to other tasting menus
Tasting menu only. It’s awesome!
The scallop course was my favorite
Only offers $125 tasting menu !!!

Lovely bar to go to before Nightbird. We came here on an off, rainy night, and it was hard to find a seat, so be prepared for that, but once seated a truly intimate, lovely cocktail bar - Meaghan H
Adorable sister spot to Fiorella, creative cocktails in a standing room only bar area and small bites are the way to go if you haven’t made reservations. - Ashley Rose
By far the best restaurant we’ve been to since moving to SF from Brooklyn. Everything was wonderful. I nearly shed tears of joy at the table. - Wally N
This place is amazing, the food is delicious, the service impeccable and the setting gorgeous! Wouldn’t be surprised if this place got a second Michelin star fast - S P
World-class singers. Mephistopheles production was fantastic. They tracked down sets in Turino originally made for a San Francisco production many years ago. It was jaw-dropping awesome. - Amy T
Beautiful venue. Saw Fidelio here and it was very nice. Even the cheapest seats had a good view. - Abby C
Bring some cash and a date for top notch whiskey cocktails. Fun spot. Seating tends to be limited. - Megan Allison
