Chic , cute , off-the-beaten path, with very good (read: well-dressed) people watching . Soft boiled eggs , carrot cake , coffee , etc.
In line at Penelope's? Come here instead. As the first Rose Bakery in the U.S., it is modeled off of other locations in Paris, London, and Tokyo. Get the fresh OJ . Such a gem.
Miles better than the one in Paris (which also seemed to double as a local grocery store ). Atmosphere, people, and fresh OJ FTW
Get an egg dish . They’re the fluffiest and best soft scrambled eggs I’ve had. Read more
The pancakes are fluffy on the inside with some crunch on the outside - so so delicious! And they top the cakes with fresh fruit . Yum!
Pricey and random location but the menu has a good selection of healthy options and treats
Hands down the best quiche in the city , plus an amazing scone and clotted cream .
Get the chocolate doughnut . It's very grown up. Not too sweet.
A Brit-style Indian chicken curry over basmati rice . Chicken (all breast meat) was overcooked and rubbery. Surprising error from them.
The breakfast sandwich has a homemade sausage patty as big as a burger
Scones with clotted cream and jam are just lovely!
Lovely cafe . But prices are too high! Great quality, but 5$ for a coffee and 14$ for a small plate of veggie salad is outrageous.
If your looking for a great spot to get some pistachio cake , then look no further than this spot! Really amazing coffee here as well /
Surprisingly calm for brunch on Saturday, try the breakfast sandwich and one of their fresh juices .
Great fresh food and baked goods . Perfect spot for a snack or a meal among modern art/architecture/fashion.
Top notch pastries and people watching . A slice of Tokyo in Murray Hill .
Assiette de legumes is fantastic, the space is airy, and there's visual eye candy everywhere.
Be sure to seek out the Sandows (bungee cord) chairs. SO comfortable !
OMG the pistachio cake !
Tables are tight. The assiette de legumes is justifiably a favorite.
Use the bathrooms on 3. Have them Toto Japanese toilets with heated seats.
