Central BBQ

The pork plate was so good! I’m from Texas so trying the pork bbq was a must. I initially thought the plate only had a small amount of food, but it filled me up for the rest of the day!

Absolutely one of the best places for BBQ in the 901. The ribs , pulled pork platter, and BBQ nachos are all excellent choices.

The best non-Georgia BBQ I've ever had (this Georgia girl is super biased). Their dry rub ribs are heavenly. Also adored their mustard BBQ sauce . And we were surrounded by locals...always comforting!

Pulled pork is excellent and choice of BBQ sauces & sell variety of BBQ sauces & rubs! They make their own potato chips which are so crispy and delicious. Can't wait to get back to Central BBQ!

Get to Central! You cannot go wrong! The pork sandwich , the ribs , the greens and the Mac and cheese will make you one happy human! This is THE SPOT! Locals and tourists agree on this!

I like that the BBQ nachos come in a half and full size. I enjoyed them & the baked beans ! For $3 I feel this banana pudding could be bigger and have actual wafers in it. I thought it was macNcheese .

The barbecue at Central BBQ is legendary in Memphis and you can certainly taste it! It is a small restaurant but they also have some tables outside , where you can sit if it is warm enough.

Tasty! Ordered lg onion ring , only got 6 rings! Get their Pulled pork & ribs . Mac & cheese delish! You get a ton of fries in a lg order. Good smoked bologna too!!

The best BBQ I've had in Memphis. Great ribs , pulled pork , BBQ nachos , salads . Grab a beer while in line and try ALL of the many sauces.

Tip for vegans and vegetarians - they have a bbq portobello sandwich and if you ask nicely, they'll make portobello nachos .

The ribs are very good and the smoked turkey is incredibly moist and flavourful! I was not impressed with the dry brisket and pulled pork .

Get their dry ribs (OMG these ribs ) and try different sauces (the "hot" is a bit vinegary but delicious). Mac & cheese is also incredible.

The barbecue nachos are a must, otherwise I think the best barbecue in Memphis is The Bar B Q Shop. The sauce is great but only the second best in Memphis.

The OG and the best branch in town . Parking is a mess, but it's well worth the wait. Better wings than most chicken joints

I had the pork plate with slaw and chips . Absolutely the BEST! My husband had a full slab of ribs and they were full of meat and super tender.

Get anything with the sweet heat sauce on it. And top that mac m cheese with their own BBQ shake or dry rub . Yum!

Hot sauce is delicious and not too spicy at all, but if you like sweet, stick to mild sauce . Too sweet for me but good. Mac is very cheesy and yummy! BBQ beans are great too.

Traditional pork nachos were as good as everyone promised. Next time I'm going to put a twist on it and ask for the house made kettle chips instead of store bought tortilla .

Definitely go for the ribs , 1/2 wet 1/2 dry with the mac-n-cheese and BBQ beans . This combo is a definite winner!

Get a large plate of home made potato chips that's made fresh daily and seasoned just right with a side of chunky bleu cheese dressin for dipping .

Fast service , ok food. I love Memphis style ribs but these just weren't that flavorful. Sauces were good. I liked the mild with added hot sauce more than I liked the hot.

Half order of pork nachos on house chips with jalapeños and a half order of dry rub wings is the best meal going.

The combo plate with 3 meats and sides, yummy had to get a take home box just couldn't finish the plate off.

The sausage is silly it is good! Actually, all meats were incredible. Skip the sides as only ok.
