It’s hard to go wrong with anything on a Daniel Boulud menu, but maybe the smartest thing to do at Bar Boulud is to order wine and charcuterie and just people-watch. Read more
The Charcuterie . The Bread . The Burger ! Dessert . I forget what others had I was so focused on my own plate. Of course the wine and staff are amazing. Maya was great.
I've been here 4 times & have tried 12 dishes. LOVED: 1) Crab Salad w Celery , Granny Smith Apple, Frisee 2) Pate Grand-Mere. FAILED: 'Club' de Saumon Fume. See Top 10 dishes on Foodmento: Read more
This a well known Mediterranean style outpost of chef Daniel Boulud 's named uptown spot. It's really nice to have a brunch seating outdoor in summer and this egg florentine is stylish and delicious.
Home to some of the most authentic charcuterie outside of France developed with Parisian charcutier Gilles Vérot. In the spring and summer I like to sit out on the terrace and drink a glass of wine .
I went for a lighter fare, allowed the professional and elegant staff to decide what would pair well with my Greek white wine . I had the Salade De Crabe À LA PÊCHE & the Cauliflower Gratin . MUST GO!
Very busy area, with construction/traffic/show attendees!!!! For brunch , we waited 10+ minutes and even with all the chaos its well worth it - the pre-meal bread and fries were the best part!!
I mean its Bouloud so brunch was good was great. Not amazing but that's what lunch and dinner are for. Super nice staff and very kid-friendly. We were there for a good 2.5 hours and were never rushed
Food is always reliable, especially anything meat related (DB’s specialty). Charcuterie never disappoints. Service however is less dependable... always nice, just sometimes forgetful and inefficient.
Loved the pistachio french toast and the madame croquet . I do strongly advise to skip the burger . The pork and marinara sauce do not blend well with the rest of the burger .
Comfortable space . I had a burger-the brioche bun was hard from sitting under the heat lamp , server said it happens! My husband the french toast which was delicious. Disappointing experience.

Bar Boulud added the Frenchie burger to its menu in April 2013. Since Bar Boulud is all about rustic French, it was a no-brainer. Read more
OMG....That lunch special is beyond delicious. We were stuffed and the bill wasn't crazy either. The price for the pre-fixe was only $4 bucks more than what foursquare said online. Great environment!
Visited for Restaurant Week 2016 lunch . Not impressed by my choices. Cauliflower soup (ok), Atlantic Cod (pretty boring/bland) and Gateau Chocolate Passionfruit cake (way too much pf). Duck was great!
Yummy food and lively , bistro like atmosphere. Huge variety of pate and charcuterie (get the foie gras !) and the fish and fries are amazing.
Acclaimed French chef Daniel Boulud , known for upscale New York City eateries Daniel and Café Boulud, shows diners his more casual side with this lively contemporary bistro and wine bar . Read more
Best Madeleines I’ve ever tasted! Great little cheese scones and scallops in white sauce were also divine.
Delicious food, but a bit snob. Went with my wife after a day of walking around NY and felt like they didn't want us there. Recomend the King Crab as entree and Musles with fries .
Solid food, an exciting wine program (choice bottles are served at cost weekly), and killer terrine . Hey, it's a Daniel Boulud joint, so what else would you expect? [Eater 38 Member] Read more
We came here for NYC restaurant week and will definitely return. The food is absolutely delicious. Order anything because it all looked good.
Best fries in NYC. Boudin blanc and duck hash are my favorite dishes here. Escargot is great too. Prix Fixe dinners are a steal
Looking for desert ? The "île flottante", meringue with crême anglaise, is very nicely made here. Very light.
On a summer day sit outside and have the Nicoise Salad . Great food and great people watching .
True French culinary experience, but be prepared to pay for it. Great service that lets you savor. Sitting outside on a lovely spring night, one could be convinced they were in Paris instead of NYC.
The duck confit and the boudin blanc are great (although you can buy the boudin for 1/5 the dish price) Don't bother with the Frenchie Burger .
Croque Monsieurs are a killer here, and so are the bloody marys . Good solid brunch . Sit outside on the patio if the weather allows you to for people watching / lincoln center
The Squash soup with roasted pumpkin seeds may possibly be one of the most flavorful, aromatic & utterly divine things I've ever eaten. #Foodie
What used to be good, is the Cubano . not anymore. I have been coming here for 2 years. Quality has been declining since. Portions shrank, the filling is missing and the food is cold in the inside.
Have the roast chicken and a glass or two of red wine here before the opera. I dare you not to fall asleep.
Restaurant week! Try the Skate , the sausage , the corn soup and leave room for dessert . Heaven on a plate.
Love the communal table in the back, great design. The burger and eggs dishes at brunch are delicious.
scandinavian style designed space-sit at the bar or community table and go for the pre-fixe menu.....my soup ,merlu and dessert were all packed in flavours...the service was sub par with no personality
The food & service are good, however Michael Lawrence, who is the manager and director of operations happens to be the rudest person I have ever encountered at any fine dining establishment.
Sit at the community table and try to ignore the calorie count. The space is fantastic - a must see for that alone!
I love that it's so classic French. Great lunch special too
Best brunch I've ever had in NYC! The place is amazing and service is cery good!
I haven't seen it on the menu in a while, but the flatiron steak was superb. Either way, get yourself some pâté .
Great brunch spot - 4 courses for $32; the squash soup , quiche and croque monsieur are delicious
Tasting Table Top10 Steak Frites : "Steak Frites " Big cup of near-perfect fries , excellent char--it ain't cheap
Every night they open a $100 + bottle of wine and sell it by the glass. Worth every penny. Lovely food - even lovelier service!
I enjoyed my prix fixe with the croque madame !
Across from the Lincoln Center is Bar Boulud celebrating the typically opulent palette of chef Daniel Boulud with deliciously casual French fare.
The downstairs wine "cellar " on the the way to the restrooms is worth checking out. Love the cavern like upstairs ceiling.
Charcuterie . Wines by the bottle, glass pours are dumbed down. Large format pour is good stuff usually.
Lyonnaise bar food in an elegant setting , good for lunch or dinner before (or after) Lincoln Center . Terrific wines and amazing cured meats .
Great brunch ! The eggs are amazing.
My standard pre-Lincoln Center dinner . Always well-prepared, always interesting menu.
Best brunch ! Amazing eggs !
Try the charcuterie sample and the Lion desert . Yummy! Their wines are great too.
Service, food, ambience--this place is amazing. Came for a special occasion & tried the 4 course tasting menu. While it's only four courses, they fill you up with other goodies during your meal. - Kailin Villamar
The veal milanese is one of my favorite dishes in the city. Perfectly fried with a nice dressing and some greens. - Noah B
