Throw back to a 1940s feeling, this cafe is always busy - from breakfast till dinner (prepare for the queue or book in advance). Everything is tasty but they are very serious for their coffee .

Coffee and cake are good. There’s a restaurant but if you ordered from the takeaway there are seating outside the restaurant for you to enjoy your food.

I enjoyed the shoestring fries a lot and the service was great with informative and prompt waiters . The menu was a bit limited after 5.

Has a similar look and feel to the cluster of restaurants throughout the UK, called The Ivy. Good music , good atmosphere, good decor and most importantly, good food, coffee and cocktails .

Awesome brunch , great ambiance, and friendly staff ! The Grounds was packed on a Sunday morning - felt like all of Sydney was there!

Service is excellent here. Attentative & efficient only had a crossiant & deconstruct mocha & it was quality. Great old fashioned interior with takeaway options outside.

Eggs florentine, ordered with the hollandaise the side. Citrus-cured salmon is salty in a good way and the pine nuts make it great.

Perfect place for a great coffee shop . I really like steak and eggs are good for taste and nicely cooked. It's a perfect place to come with enjoyable friends.

The city offshoot of their famous Grounds of Alexandria . Open daily for breakfast , lunch and dinner . Conveniently located near Town Hall for either a quick takeaway or proper sit down meal.

Great place for a healthy breakfast , salads and coffee . Weekends tend to be very busy. So either reserve a place or come with time in hand.

Good coffee , but felt a little bit like a tourist joint. Sort of torn between liking the fitout and thinking I was in a cruise ship bar .

Smooth check-in process. Went to the service window, gave them my number, got a welcome text, then a table-ready text about 10 mins later - just enough time to get a coffee at the takeaway window.

You will have a time restriction if one hour if you have coffee + cake inside. 3:00pm you may have only 4x types of cakes left

Steak and eggs is seriously tasty and very nicely cooked (requested medium). Plenty of mushrooms .

Steak and eggs for breakfast is decent, but the hash brown underneath is lukewarm. The deconstructed chocolate is gimmicky and tastes quite ordinary

I ordered the Jumbo Yamba prawns and what I received was 2 small prawns ! Expensive for $24 + 10% surcharge !

Dinner menu limited Very cramped tables Hostess had attitude. Made like u were invisible. So u had to get his attention and the place was not busy #

If you want a sandwich , you’ll have to order to take away outside, they don’t serve them inside. But you can sit at an outside table .
