Remember to put your name on the list as soon as you arrive. If you are happy to share a table you my get seated sooner. Try the tantanmen ramen if you like spicy , and ask for chili oil to add
Supposedly, they only serve 15 bowls of the tonkotsu ramen daily, and only from 2pm (until sold out). So definitely one to time correctly. The green tea cappuccino also comes highly recommended.
This has been a favourite ramen joint since I was in high school . It's still good. Always get the egg add on!
Lines are usually long but they serve their tonkotsu ramen at 2:00-3:30ish and only 15 bowls are made per day. Pretty good value for under $12. Top level of The Galleries Victoria. Next to Kinokuniya.
Having the separate cup of syrup to add to the green tea cappuccino lets you enjoy this drink as you like it
If you're having a soup (and it's likely you are) then try UNDER ordering on the entrées - means there'll be more space to drink up the broth ... it's fantastic! NECTAR OF THE GODS I SAY!
Love love love the Tantanmen ! Super salty, porky, tasty goodness. Be sure to order extra beverages to wash it down.
My fav is the TanTamMen and Chilli Beef ramen - both are not very hot so get a side of chilli oil if you like spicy :)
Chicken Katsu Curry is awesome. So is the Hiyashi Chuuka but it's only available in summer! Ramen is a bit salty for my taste. Get here early to avoid the crowds - before 5:30 on Fri and Sat!
Love chicken katsu curry . Always fresh!
Ramens here are just average. I cannot feel any "love" in it. Seems like they are out from the factory production line . You line up, order, eat, pay and bye. Try Tsukemen if you must come here & eat.
Nice ramen and simple jap food. Taste wise reasonably good. Price slightly high. Friendly staff . Beef don n unagi rice , yum
I love the chilli beef ramen - just the right amount of spiciness
If you haven't tried it before the tsukemen is the bomb - concentrated vinegary ramen stock with either egg or spinach noodle served on the side
$13 for a bowl of ramen - big enough for two if you don't mind sharing. Always have with gyoza !
Excellent Tokyo Ramen ! The tofu one seems excellent as well .
Do not pass up on the yakisoba omelette - stir-fried noodles with Japanese mayo and pickled ginger , wrapped in a fluffy, delicious omelette . Mmm...
Love the Ramen here. Shio Ramen my absolute favourite and then there's the Karaage Chicken...Yum!
Enjoyed the miso ramen and agedashi tofu !
Always busy. Circle "y" on the booking sheet to share a table...quicker! Try the tantanmen with extra pork
Tantanmen noodles and gyoza . Perfectly made.
Very hot ramen is my favourite all time.
Everyone raves about the Gyu Don so it's definitely on my list to try.
Keep walking past Wagarama and try one of their spicy Ramen Soups . You'll drink lots of water but its worth it
They have one of the best ramen in Sydney.
Always liked the yaki soba . Rarely you can just walk right in.
Service is quite good and quick, it's cheap and worth it every time!
Pretty good food. Ramen is always a favourite, but chicken karaage is great for those who enjoy an excellent chicken dish .
Try the Chicken Katsu Curry - You can get better elsewhere in Sydney, but this is just fine as a quick meal on a budget..!
Best Ramen outside of Japan, try the green tea cappuccino
teriyaki salmon bento is recommended!
Love the shio butter ramen . Add a special boiled egg to your meal. Mmmmm.
Can that bloke yelling the numbers out at the top of his lungs please shut the fuji up?
Tokyo ramen and the iced green cappuccino (it's not actually coffee though!) It's long wait but worth it!
There is a 2nd Ichi-ban- Boshi in the basement food court of the galleries Victoria.
Abit pricey not as cheap as home but still very good, oh and it's authentic
Their tsukemen with spinach noodles is the best!
Not a huge fan of the melon soda (tastes like green cordial to me) but the noodles are outstanding. On a hot the cold, spicy noodles were great
Thx my JPN friend???????? I ???? Tan Tum Men!!!
Everything is good here
Spicy beef ramen is delicious
90% of the dishes are pork based so not good for vegetarians . Cash only . It's hard to understand the waitresses .
Best ramen hands down!
Very nice Ramen
Cold noodles tantanmen is so good!
Ramen , gyoza , green tea latte
The ramen here is sooo frickin good
The Ramen and the Gyoza are not bad... The rest is arguable.
Tonkotsu ramen & tantanmen (spicy ) is the best! Have it with ice green tea cappucino :D
