Patsy’s serves the quintessential example of the New York Neapolitan style of pizza — cooked in a grandfathered coal oven. Few, if any, places provide a more lucid touchstone to old New York. Read more
The restaurant is dark and sleepy, with that classic NY pizza joint vibe. Margherita is the way to go, but if your group or your appetite is big, get a vodka pie too.
Opened in 1933, the original location of Patsy's is the only old school coal oven pizzeria in New York that offers pizza by the slice. The crust will make you feel as if you are in Naples. Read more
The perfect ideal of New York style pizza . Crispy , light, foldable, molten hot and massively flavorful. I could eat it every damn day.
You already know best pitZa in HARLEM NYC. One of my fave pitZa spots, take out side are like the pizza nazi though. Dine In everything is good. YOU MUST TRY IT ONE TIME.
Their coal-fired slices are the missing link of pizza . The clear middle ground between the old world Neapolitan pies and the modern New York slice.
This is the joint created by Patsy Lancieri, Grimaldi’s uncle. Patsy’s changed owners in 1991, but the thin-crust, coal oven pie at its original East Harlem location is one of the best in the city . Read more
While plenty of places offer cheap slices, Patsy’s offers some of the best in the country . Plus, because it’s just a hole-in-the-wall stop you can grab a slice on the quick. Read more
The perfect slice is here: With slight layer of cheese , a touch of delicious sauce and a thin charred crust perfect for folding, you'll suddenly realize what NYC pizza is all about.
whole pie portabella mushroom pizza to of the line . A lout of places lose their luster over time not Patsy's, I've been coming here for decades and it is still amazing!
The Margherita slices at this 1933 East Harlem original are thiner and shorter than you’ll typically find, which means the average person—okay, fine, we—can easily wolf down five to six slices each. Read more
Everything is delicious here!! The MOZARELLA sticks , fresh pasta (the fettuccine is to die for) and the tiramisu are some of my favourites. Get spoiled here, like Sinatra did!
The best cheese pizza in NYC IMO. Grab a slice from the window (not the sit down) and join everybody else on the curb talking about how good it is. Best and freshest tomato sauce !
Established 1933, continuously operated. One of the originators of New York style pizza and one of the few coal oven pizzerias in the city . Inspiration for a key scene of The Godfather.
Pizza is very good. I was impressed, I didn't think it would be amazing and it was. Also, the chicken parm is very good.
Best Pizza in NYC. Every trip I take there, I get a whole pie to share with my gf. Its thin and light, so a whole pie isnt as filling as you may think.
Time-tested recipes, addictive red sauce , and coal brick-baked pies have been the dishes du jour since the 1930s, when the legendary local pizza chain got its start at this very spot.
The pizza was so delicious and with so many flavor could choose that we even visited the pizza shop twice in the same day!
All I can say about this place.. This is the real deal.. Not can ever take this place out of business . the real oven brick pizza .. 100% real pizza .. The best in the whole five boroughs.
The slice was so good I had to get a whole pie to go.
Splendid. Enjoyed every bite. Best uptown pizza . Cheap !
Patsy's HARLEM is the best pizza on the island . Seasoned w/ filed unicorn horn dust & baked in a stone oven heated by dragon spit. Then they feed the unicorn-turned-horse the slices. And they love it!
Only one of two coal-oven places in NYC that sells by the slice (the other is Sac's in Astoria) -- over in the small take-out shop near the corner. I prefer the whole plain pie with regular mozzarella
I think it's the best pizza in the whole city (and most classically "New York"). Maybe a tie w Louie and Ernie's.
The pizza is old world style. Then again, so are the portions in this supersized era, you'll craving more. The coal oven gives a smokey flavor to fresh slices. The nearby restaurant is an alternative.
Piping-hot, paper-thin slices of crispy , coal-charred cheese pizza served at a no-frills Harlem storefront for only $1.75 each. Read more
Lovely thin melt in your mouth pizza . Got cheese and pepp.
Excellent pizza . Great for sitting down and sharing a whole pie or ordering a single slice from their to-go window.
Pizza is very good. I also had chicken parm , I thought it was very good. Not. Too many restaurant have a good one.
I like to call myself a Pizza snob. With that said I must say, Patsy’s is by far one of the best in the city . If you enjoy this then you must try Lincoln Lounge in Mount Vernon I like to call myse
Best pizza I've ever had. Got 2 peroni beers and a whole pie for only 25.20 (including tax) I'll def be going back.
Tried the cheese slice. Gotta admit, one of the best thin crust I have ever had. Definitely recommend it.
Classic spot for an amazing slice of thin crust pizza . Worth the trip to East Harlem.
Open with a caprese salad . If you were thinking of going to Grimaldi’s go here instead. (Or to Juliana’s if you are near Grimaldi’s already)
Drita is always one of the most accommodating servers I've encountered in New York City . Good service paired with some of the best pizza around. Salute!
Stick with the coal original, even if getting several pies. It's incredible, cheap , and not too filling.
It's awesome. Go. Regular and fresh mozzarella are both good, and you can order pies or slices. Cash only . Read more
Get the classic slice. Also delivery from them is just as good as eating there
Historically great pizza . Exceptional
Get a thin-crust pizza slice at the take-out window and walk east one block to enjoy eating pizza with a view of the East River !
This is the original Patsy's, unaffiliated with the rest in the city . Their coal oven pizzas are the closest to what I've had in Italy. Absolutely delicious.
I can't even eat regular pizza anymore--Patsy's has spoiled me. The thin crust , the cheese , the sauce! So good you can eat a whole pie and not feel guilty. GO HERE! You will not regret it...
I had the margherita and it was great.
Pizza is awesome, share as an appetizer , then get classic red sauce food.
Best pizza hands down, you would have to order a pie, one slice is not enough!!!!
Patsy said Daisy was working today which is why Marty & I drove here all the way from Ronnie's. Karen hasn't stopped quipping about it all night. I shoulda listened to Larry.
The crust and the dough has great flavor the staff is great.
Everything is delicious but the pizzas are the stars.
Classic New York slice. Best in the area.
Good thin crust pizza . Fast service . Friendly wait staff . Clean place.
