The Hayden Flour Mill is the oldest reinforced concrete building in Tempe. The original mill was built in 1874 and closed in 1998, ending the longest continuous use for an industrial building in the Valley. The mill grounds are now open.

While a few pieces of play equipment are in poor shape, the jungle gym is awesome for kids because of the 8 or so slides of varying size. Big fields for running and playing ball is a huge plus. - Ryan Svoboda
Climb up to the top here. It's a great hike and you'll feel invigorated. There's a great view of the city from the top, so it's worth it. Plus, it makes you have some ASU pride - Gary S
