Unassuming, good place for weeknight sushi . A good neighborhood go-to. Full and busy but hardly any wait. I like these guys, it's a friendly , familiar spot with good fish . It's not fancy but I like it
Delicious sushi roll 's and main courses. Perfect for a quality meal if you have a reasonable amount of time. The 49'rs roll is amazing, along with the Spider roll and miso soup . I highly recommend it.
Their sushi is some of the best in the city ! Their dragon roll was fresh and melted in my mouth.
Classic Japanese spot with straightforward and traditional sushi , dishes, and rolls. Affordable and friendly staff too!
Really good japanese imported sushi fish specialities. Grilled cod starter. Black sesame pudding !
Half eaten. SF's best kept sushi secret. As good as Ryoko's without the outrageous wait and more reasonably priced.
High quality fish , good portions, reasonably priced; Some of the best sashimi , had salmon ; eel and avocado was delicious
Consistent quality. A good neighborhood sushi place. Traditional Japanese fare so you're not gonna see rolls smothered in sauce.
Omakase sushi is really fresh. It melts in your mouth! Taste it :)
Excellent care given to tofu salad and tako salad . Always a good sign when the small details aren't forgotten
Authentic little gem in the area. Fresh sushi + try their seasonal catch
Bring a date and split a hot sake , large Asahi , an ankimo app and a sushi & sashimi combo platter.
Best salmon sashimi I've ever had! I really like getting to choose my cup too.
Great place, no-frills, very good fish . Ask for the Omasake and ask to include "Uni" in the pack.
one of the best sushi places in SF. get the tuna bomb roll
Get the hamachi kama , Alaska roll, and toro .
Get the Tina bomb and spider roll !! Also nigori sake is delicious!!
Chicken skewers and grilles asparagus were delicious
Friendly , homey spot
Don't miss: soft shell crab , sea urchin sashimi and the tuna bomb roll . Awesome.
Honestly good sushi , decent prices, and open late . Go in. You won't regret it.
rainbow roll !
Try the rainbow roll and dragon roll ! The combination of fish and avocado is AMAZING!
Great service at sushi bar
This place is ridiculously great. No frills, just great/fresh fish , service and sake .
It's almost as difficult to find truly bad sushi in SF as it is to find the truly good. This one is flat in the middle. Meh.
Pros: simple, cheap , fresh sushi . Cons: service can be slow, tiny space that feels cramped. Avoid when busy.
Sushi and Udon tempura are the jam
Get the uni. It is amazing forever! Best I've ever had!!!
The kanpachi is - melt in your mouth good, when they have it.
Small place but good sushi
Jalapeño bombs, and the uni.
Get the spicy Tuna bomb roll
"Side" note: The side salad here is actually really good. Mmm yellow dressing .
Best toro in the neighborhood
Great tuna tatami in garlic sauce ! 49rs roll is the best!
Great food • Rude staff ????????
Aji sashimi , plus deep fried aji fish skeleton, and Hamachi Kama . Accept no substitutes
Try the spider roll
Try the Ikura With Quail Egg
Saba giri is delicious
Super quick service at the sushi bar .
everything is good!
Yummy sushi
Spicy tuna roll ! ????
Don't go here as a single if you want a table. It wasn't busy at all, and they forced me to sit at the sushi bar . Major fail so I walked out!!!
Sushi bar is excelleny
Beef terayaki rocks
Sushi is ok.
49rs roll is outstanding!
Hamachi truffle is a must-have starter. Shrek is also great to start. Can't go wrong with their omakase or nigiri tasting. - Jasper Fung
Great spot for a date or a group gathering. Drinks are strong and pretty cheap! - Kim Oswell
