Be sure to start your meal with getting a Sapporo beer on tap and a Koyoi salad , try whatever catches your eye on the menu as your mains, and then finish off with Black Sesame Ice Cream for dessert !
The beef tataki was really good. The mackerel is not as good as Hapa. Stay away from the octopus with wasabi . Pork jowl is excellent!
Best sesame ice cream in Toronto! Also try the beef tataki , koyoi salad , and grilled beef tongue on hot plate.
Pretty delicious food and good service but i cant find anything unique about this place. There's nothing that makes me wanna come here all the time.
Grilled beef tongue and potato salad are delicious. Black sesame ice cream is one of the best I've had.
Taco wasa (octopus with wasabi ) and okonomiyaki were very good here but the portions are small.
You need to come on a Wednesday for the Tonkotsu . They make 25 servings on Weds and they were all out by Thurs 9 pm.
Karaage and blanche de chambly
Try the Tofu - I like... Nice and simple, a bit greasy...
Black sesame ice cream w rice balls is delish
It gets busy fast, and they don't take reservations .
Deep fried chicken is good, very juicy
The rice is a bit sticky.
Beer and appetizers !!
Grilled fish is good. Don't recommend the cheese stuffed fish cakes .
Order kaarage and yakisoba like a (yakuza) boss.
Get the Sake = Get fucked up.
Delicious food. Try takowasabi if you can handle a kick of spiciness! - Lily Yu
