Vegetarian and authentic South Indian specialities, quite good. Quite busy with "slow" service. Go for the food, not the ambiance.

Had a table for 8 booked for two months before hand for a birthday dinner . Turned up and they had given the table away. They asked the people eating to hurry up! No apologies to us. Very poor.

A perfect 7 out of 10. Nothing is patently bad or great. The food is fair . The decor is plain. Service is lazy - requiring explicit request for water refill and a dirty table after the meal. Avoidable

Try the south Indian fare like dosa and idli rather than the tried and tested curries and nana. Woodlands is famous in India for it's south Indian cuisine

Ask for the lunch menu if here at lunchtime. Thalis are great.

Pau Bhaji was good but thats about it

The food is fairly good, but the portions are bad. Chaaj drink a bit of a salty disappointment. Go to the restaurant . You won't regret unless you're already in a financial deficit.

Try the lunch box £4.95. Five min wait but well worth it
