Spicy pork bao , gyoza and salmon rolls (slightly torched) are our favourites! The ramen is also delusions of course. Aso try the beer and snack menu - good value !
Karaka-men (spicy ramen , pictured) was delicious.Tamago is always $2 extra. Karaage was in big pieces but very delicious too.
Ramen & staff service are both excellent!
Love Shiromaru motoaji, same as Japan flavor. Hakata shoyu is good unexpectedly. Starter menu also good.
Karakamen: Must order if you enjoy spicy hot food. Go for maximum heat level to pack in the punch
Akamaru Chashu - Ippudo's modern take on Tonkatsu is my favourite broth for ramen so far!
While not an izakaya in the strict sense, it's about the closest you can get in Singapore vibe-wise. Plus there's the added bonus of amazing tonkotsu ramen .
Best ramen in Singapore ! And great side dishes. The spicy pork buns are a must-try!
My all time favourite ramen is the spicy miso one. Adding an egg is a must to complete the ramen experience!
They accept reservations (unlike many other top ramen stalls). Assuring when we need some certainty for big groups or special occasions
Akamaru : taking basic to the next level with a mildly spicy miso paste
For garlic lovers: Ask for the fresh garlic to crush into your ramen . Brings the ramen to a whole different level.
must-try the Tao Kuro Kakuni ラメん: the kuro soup and fatty pork cube is divine. i prefer thin straight noodles to the thick chewy ones though. while you are at it, throw in a pork bun ! *SLURP*
Other Ippudo branches in Singapore
Better than ippudo in hk cos broth is less salty. Shared a bowl w extra order of noodles n char siu cos we r small eaters. Just nice. Not stuffed. Beef steak on hot plate is ok.
Part of the Ippudo chain. Great for a late evening quick dinner . High quality broth is the draw here.
Ramen is very delightful, broth is tasty. But why every choice of ramen on the menu only contains pork ? No other meat or fish or vegetable . There is no vegetarian option and they wouldn't substitute.
Kuro, and the spicy akamaru ramen , worth trying. a must to order for buns :) will come back for more
Teba Karage has a sweet and crunchy coating- perfect starters. But the serving portion is a bit small.
Tonkotsu ramen here is great. Get the extra Cha-Shu :)
The tofu salad is yummy, if not a little overdressed. Ask for dressing on the side if possible!
Get an outdoor table if you're here with your pet dog. Dog friendly ! 🐶
Restaurant faces Mohamed Sultan Rd
Shiromaru : clean basic flavours
Ramen for Lunch cos my wife also going for Japanese food tonight 😋
Best ramen in Singapore
Don't forget to order the pork buns !!!
Must try the simmered pork belly . It tastes super good.. I love to have Tao Kuro Chashu
open to 12mn mon to thu, to 3am fri and sat, and to 11pm sun
Great ramen !
Great Ramen !
Sunday is all day happy hour for drinks!
Pork buns are great!!
Lunch with colleagues
Take your time with the appetizers and drinks because the Ramen will take forever to arrive.
Fantastic. As always.
They have kakuhai! Made by Yamashita, taught by Naoki :)
It's not at UE Square. It's along Mohammed Sultan Road ...
A must try experience!
Good but bloody noisy ! You can't hear yourself think.
Late-diner saviour!
Way too much msg in the ramen ! I was so thirsty after I had to drink water constantly all the way till I went to bed! Never again!!!
Must Try the spicy Tao aka tamago!
rather packed on a weekend. and yummy.
The noodles are awesome.
Organic salad is nice
The Kakuni tastes different from the last time. A disappointment.
Hoeggarden battered fish & chips was really crispy! Apple crumble with vanilla ice cream rocks :) - Francesca A.
The gyoza also good! Make the sauce with soy sauce vinegar to make it even better. - Melissa Agustina
Best Eclairs East of Paris. Great bitter-sweet chocolate. Pricey, though. - Holger Lindner
The sesame crusted tuna is just ... Perfect ! - Tarek Belfouzi
A few minute walk to Starbucks, 7-Eleven, Cold Storage, Liang Court, Robertson Walk, Japanese restaurants and the famous Buk Ku Teh place. - Jenifir Hunter
