Char Siew is much nicer than the pork belly . Don't forget to add the extra condiments of fried garlic sesame seeds . Nice Ramen , a lighter version compared to others out there.
Go for extra char siew & def. add ajitsuke tamago if not going for the all-toppings special! The karashi (spicy ) stock is great to mix things up a bit. 6 years on & still my fave chicken-based ramen .
Yaki char siew (4 pieces for $6) is a must order and literally melts in the mouth. All-in toppings ramen is very very filling. ($18)
Try their angry tomato #tsukemen! Copious amounts of seafood and grated cheese . Control the spiciness of the dipping sauce with #Tabasco scorpion.
If you’re a spicy lover, you can ask for chili on the side. They’ll give you off the menu spicy (Chinese style) Chilli paste .
Oh ya, gyoza here is good too! And water is free for customers!

For the best Ramen in town , Dndbay.com recommends Marutama Ramen! Special mention goes to the the charshu which is by far the most tender and indulging amongst many. Read more
Solid list of Ramen and starter options. Nothing is off the charts amazing.. But solid for lunch or light dinner .
Chicken stock thin noodle ramen ! A good break from the usual heavy pork bone stock ramen you'll find elsewhere.
The egg has a nice runny centre and the char siu melts in your mouth! The noodles and soup were just so-so to me.
Aside from the Ramen , I absolutely love the Char Siew here. As a friend of mine aptly describes it "Melty Char Siew ". The soft ones in your soup & the grilled ones "Yaki Char Siew " are amazing!
Pretty yummy ramen , good service , nice ambiance.
Order the signature Remen, well is quite salty but the noodle is very Q I rate 5/10 . The side dishes surprisely nice! Must order the char siu (abit salty) and dumplings yummy. Overall 6.5/10
Nice soup base, not too heavy. Try the spicy version for some kick
The egg was surprisingly smooth and delicious in the soup noodle . That is all about it.
Not my first choice since I love my soup base really thick and porky, but still very good nonetheless.
Yummy! Best ramen here
The side dishes were very tasty and I highly recommended The yaki char siew . As for the soup noodle there was nothing good to talk about.
This is one of their better outlets. Make sure you get the lovely tamago!
The Marutama Ramen (chicken soup ) is delicious!
I've tried many Ramen places in Singapore. This is by far the best one. Remember that on your second refill you get a free topping .
Nice ramen !
marutama ramen taste so good ????????
Try the Marutama Ra-men - love the noodles !
Very tasty chicken broth based ramen available here
Awesome food but they chase customers to pay up by removing our glasses of water without asking and taking our receipt to counter without asking again. The shop is nt crowded at all btw.
Need to add in egg as toppings!
Best ramen I have tasted, I can no longer settle for any other ramen . Remember to add the ajitsuke tamago - the half boiled seasoned egg .
Warning.. dun say yes when u r offered the private room. Its not v gd ambience :p
Roasted Char Siew ! - MUST TRY!
Nice food, try tempura .
Don't take the spicy Marutama but take the original instead because the spiciness will hide the flavour of the ramen broth
katsuo shoyu ramen
I liked the soft daikon .
Aka ramen with ajitsuke tamago is a must try...
Was alright - broth not too strong. Liked texture of ramen
Broth not strong enough for my liking
Everything in this place is nice and delicious except the Jpop music .
Try to add lemon to the ramen . Refreshing and nice!
Try the Char Siew .. You wouldn't stop at one!!
Must have the ajistuke tamago and char siu .
Must try the seasoned half-boiled egg ! Yumilicious!!
one hour wait on friday night
Broth is v nice
Probably the beat ramen in Singapore!
Try their Marutama Ramen with extra tamago.
Too pricy , ramen is good, not great. Menya Musashi taste+price is way better
One of the few places in SG offering ramen in chicken broth . Must try their Karaka-men.
Price went up !!!
The Tokusen Toroniku (pork cheek) ramen is heavenly! Tender, flavourful yet still retaining its chew. Wonderful place to dine alone, facing beautiful Clarke Quay. - Belinda Ang
Great Japanese Ramen! You can choose thickness of the soup, softness of noodles and chicken oil. Free boiled egg! :) - HaeAn Sung
Good ramen. Soup base is thick. Enthusiatic kitchen crew and efficient ushering during dinner time. Free refill of tea also awesome. - Keilya Jan
Just the right place for a date. Pick some nice restaurants with good ambience (e.g. Ma Maison, Helipad) then go down and enjoy the breeze together by the river. - Andrew Darwitan
Beautiful, simple, and relaxing. Simple as that! A place to visit with a lot of happenings around the clock. - Chris Ioannou
The seasonal beers are fantastic, the burger buns are glorious, and the atmosphere is pleasant. - Heather SW
