Food is absolutely delicious, the people are super friendly , the staff is great and the prices are very affordable . If you are in Portland, you must come here!

One of my family's go-to spots in the Old Port for the last 15+ years when we're hungry for casual , classic Maine comfort food ...highly recommend the seafood chowder and steamed mussels

If you see the daily special is a steamed lobster , with fries and corn on the cob, you best be ordering it as I've never had such a great lunch in my life!

The clam chowder was very good. A little on the sweet side though. But I would have it again. The whole belly clams was excellent.

No frills - but awesome clam chowder and a great lobster roll . The butter grilled bun makes it just right.

Try the lobster roll or the seafood chowder . Real Maine food, simple and good!

Get the chowder , it's worth it. Everything else is really just OK. Except the calamari , which is bizarrely actively bad. I don't know how you screw up calamari , but they found a way. Service slow.

If its busy expect a 30 min wait for your food after you order, but it's well worth it!

The scallops are huge and the chowder was awesome.

Not sure why it is so popular since our slip was very salty.. A medium cup would feed 2 person for a quick tasting after your meal.

Get the crabmeat sandwich and seafood chowder ! Won't be disappointed!

if you want a gallon of chowder , you have to order at least an hour before! tried to get some on our way back to new york but were foiled :(

I was very disappointed in Mimi's service and the food was okay, definitely not the best. I ordered the clam chowder in a breadbowl and had fried shrimp with fries .

Be sure to taste the lobster stew ! So yummy
