Get up early or stand in a line that stretches out the door. The wait is worth it, though, for these excellent pastries and breads . Grab a loaf of day-old cinnamon raisin for french toast at home.
Ham & cheese croissant and the financier are personal favorites! The chocolate croissant and sticky buns are also worth a try. Bring a friend and grab a few to share!
Makes me want to visit Portland again! Amazing baguette !! Ham and cheese croissant = one of the best I ever had! Asiago fougasse = surprisingly delicious. Order all 3, you won't be disappointed.
Everything we got was TASTY!!!!! The asiago bread is my husbands favorite. My Madeline was delish. So happy I saved my tart for later.
Fresh baked goods in the Old Port . If you are visiting the parking lot is the best deal in town and the most centralized location to walk the port district.
The scent walking in is heavenly and then the baked good hit you and you’re on a new plain of consciousness (also get the prosciutto croissant )
Loved the pain chocolat , the prosciutto croissant and the chocolate brownies ! Coffee was good too!
Don't remember the kind of bread bought, but it's so delicious and lasts forever without getting moldy!!! All the pastries also look and smell so amazing
“James Beard outstanding baker 2018. Breads are amazing and chocolate babka/flourless cakes are exceptional “ bing best bakeries by state 2021
This is THE place to get fresh bread and a quick/delicious breakfast . I love their croissants but you really can't go wrong here. Order anything.
If you get to Standard early enough you can snag one of the prized ham and cheese croissants . These woven, flakey treasures are filled with asiago and prosciutto and topped with crunchy sesame seeds !
There is not enough room for a proper tip Everything is AMAZING here! I have tried most- but my three favorites are 1.) Their Pizza 2.) Cheese Asiago (brick looking thing) and 3.) Rosemary Foccacia
Loved it. I would highly recommend it...rhubarb tart and ham and cheese croissant are fabulous!
One of the best sticky buns I've ever eaten as well as daily fresh pastries & croissants baked on site.
The pear tart was delectable and the croissants were perfect! Definitely stopping here any time I'm in Portland
Allllll bread but very amazing breads - scones , loaves, croissants and more
Having lived in France for many years, the croissants didn't disappoint. Buttery, fluffy, and just delicious. Must get
Delicious baked goods . No butter, jam , or cream cheese readily available, however, which is disappointing if you are eating the pastries immediately. Scones need a lil jam !
Hands-down the best bakery ever. Delicious, warm, crusty breads , pastries and welcoming staff . Don't pass this by
Cheese and ham croissants ...and the rhubarb tart ! Love this place!
It's a really cute bakery with some lovely, friendly locals. Great croissants !
Really buttery almond croissant with lots of filling, which makes it even more amazing. And unhealthy... but it's worth it.
All the bread I tried was great. Pecan and berry bun , olive bun , and some sort of sesame flattened thing.
Very popular with locals and restaurants and they have almond croissants on the weekends that are amazing. They use another great local business, Coffee By Design, too.
Got a plum tart last week that was an A+. Now I’m back to try the croissants . I’ll be buying their cookbook for my collection.
You must get the double chocolate chip cookies , which I think they call the Belgian sables.
The fresh baked pastries are so good. Didn't get a chance to try the bread , but I can't imagine it would be bad.
Everything is very good. Breads are amazing. Brioche rolls and loaves are a favorite.
Def def the morning bun and any ????. For savory, prosciutto & asiago is great!
the pizza at this place is simply amazing. they dont have them available until after 11 or 12 but if i was stuck on this world with ONLY that pizza i would be happy forever
This place is amazing! Light, fluffy croissants , and the raisin bread is enchanting.
Lively bakery with fresh pastries and breads . The line moves quickly!
Sticky buns . Followed by everything else. Unreal. Bookmark in your personal trust network for your next Portland visit —http://bit.ly/1bsUxVN Read more
Grab a delicious iced tea & a pear tart . You won't be disappointed.
Chocolate croissant was fresh and flakey. Blueberry scone was different but good
From out of town and I have eaten here for breakfast all three days. The Almond Croissant is to die for.
Everything is good there. Go early for the almond croissant .
Everything is good. Croissants are really like French croissants .

Great cheese, produce, and kombucha selection. When in granola, do as the granolans do. - Bon
Cute spot but small so it fills up quickly. Great pastries I just wish they served espresso drinks! Drip coffee only. - Sarah
Excellent dessert menu. Order and try anything. Flavors one might not expect to play well end up deliciously combining to form excellent desserts. - Tyler Andersen
