Ulua Beach

If you go out directly between Mokapu and Ulua, you'll find great snorkeling on the reef . Turtle cleaning station at the second reef , but deep. Might need scuba gear. Read more

If you forgot to bring a lunch , walk 10 mins east to the Kumu bar . They'll pack it up to go. Kinda spendy, but so tasty, and perfect to eat on the beach .

Best with kids, has showers , restrooms , sandy bottom, good snorkeling , not so heavy waves, always a place to park , just go and enjoy!

Good shallow swimming beach . Snorkeling near the rocky edges of the cove is good too when conditions are calm .

Great snorkeling beach ! Saw sea turtles and plenty of fish . Go early, wind can pick up later in the day. Bonus is the bathrooms and showers .

This is a great snorkeling spot on the southside of Maui. We saw a beautiful fish and sea turtles !

Be careful the waves and the user currents are a bit rougher than Mokapu . It's either more fun or more dangerous. Choose your own adventure!

Saw a white tip shark during choppy high water. Don't steal fish from the shark and you should be fine. They are however curious of people.

Family-oriented if you want to get away from the crowds at Marriott and Grand Wailea!

Great surf not terribly over crowded even by the resorts .
