The best way to travel to and from Magic Kingdom. A pleasant ride, and a welcome cool breeze in the heat. It’s more exciting than the Monorail , building suspense as Cinderella’s Castle gets closer.
If you start to leave the park 15 minutes before the fireworks , you can time the ferry trip perfectly so you see the display from the water. You miss the music , but you beat the crowds.
great views of the castle and other landmarks . yes its slower and sometimes very crowded , but its worth it for the view and experience
Had lots of fun taking the ferry across the Seven Seas Lagoon . A nice change of pace from the monorail and buses ...
If it's your first visit, DO ride the ferry ... slowly approaching the park and seeing the castle for the first time in person feels magic.
The monorail was down so I guess this was the only other option. What happens if both are down at the same time? Anyway it was a great boat ride to magic kingdom!
Scenic and relaxing ride. Pretty timely, too. A viable alternative to the monorail , especially during the morning rush.
Try to go to the back of the boat when getting on. It has a great view and you'll be the first ones to get off.
The ferry could hold over 600 people at a time - much faster way to get back to the transportation center at the end of the night.
Great way to get over to Magic Kingdom!! You have to have a mask to ride the monorail but not the ferry boat!!!
Definitely the more scenic option. Can get crowded . Can be a long wait .
Only effective when they run 3 ferries . There is always a mass of ppl waiting every night after the fireworks . Be prepared to WAIT near closing time.
The Ferry is great! Nicer than the Monorail . Much more comfortable .

It's first on first off as the boat docks on opposite sides on each dock. Never turns around.

if you time it right, you can take the ferry back during the fireworks. you can see the shapes better from afar, and it's a pretty romantic atmosphere :-) plus, the ferry is not crowded at all! - Kelli Grace Ryan
