It's soooo loud !!! Lobby with citrus vinegarette was amazing. And the truffle fries omg so good. Highly recommend if you don't mind shouting to hear your friends and retro 80-90s music !

Scott Hargroves

The menu has two real options. Burgers and Lobster . But damn, do not let that put you off. The food is great and the staff are very friendly . They sang happy birthday and gave us cake ! TRUFFLE FRIES!

Elliot Chance

Awesome hidden bar ! They specialise in lobster , bacon , truffle and all manner of cocktails - what more could you want?

Chung Ho

The wagyu beef burgers (there's a few!) are pretty amazing. The lobster seems pretty cool too. Fairly decent beer menu and pretty interesting cocktail menu . Can get really busy though.

Hidetaka Tanaka

Just look for an ordinary looking business building...and take an elevator to the roof...once you get there, enjoy some nice cocktails and casual food - lobster is their specialty.

Dennis Le

Lively after-work bar with cocktails on the sweeter side and tasty truffle fries . Best to book ahead for dinner on Fri/Sat, kitchen closes at 11:30pm.

Hendy Ongkodjojo

Great vibe, good food, excellent service! A must is the deep fried Mars Bar , all the goodness of Mars Bar in doughy doughnut batter!!

Jess

Try the Fire in the Pisco cocktail & Wagyu burger . Arrive early for a bar space (4-5pm) or book a table for dinner & enjoy your food & drinks there.

We drank Fear and Loathing ‘cos we’re mad for mescal and this bad boy is all mescal , grapefruit and cherry liquers , yum http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/sydney/the-rook-bar

Great cocktails ! York St, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Royal Mistress were great. Food was mediocre though

Joel Savitzky

The lobster salad is a delicious alternative to the meat-heavy menu!

Matt Rowles

Got some purple gin drink and a Neil Diamond cassette tape, so at the time you'd expect my life to be pretty much complete, alas there are no more cassette decks left in the immediate area, disappoint

Vicky Machinan

They make their own ginger beer ! And the truffle oil chips are YUM. Cool location. Maybe a bit exxy?

Camille

Good vibes. Lobster melt had barely any lobster and too much cheese . Couldn't finish it.

Karmen C

Lobster was perfectly cooked but truffle fries didn't have more than a drop of truffle oil . Fire in the pisco cocktail is good

Lisa N

Truffle fries are a must. Good lobster rolls and cocktails too.

Ashley Howe

Make sure you make a reservation on any day of the week. It’s always busy.

Emma Baker

Ginger caipirinha . Threw a wild card out there, batman rose to the challenge. Very impressed!

Gina Leung

Great atmosphere and not too crowded on a Thursday. Wonderful service so far!

Carla Stephanie

Lobster risotto was delicious. I had the nobis cocktail , it was sickly sweet, would not order again

Heather Noonan-Hargroves

Accommodated a huge group - more than we had booked originally. Lobster and burgers . You can't go wrong. Truffle fries are a must. Very, very loud . Maybe the loudest restaurant I've been to in sydney?

Michelle Kim

Love to visit again!:-) love the food and good place to hang out

Renée Van Kraanen

Cheese bacon fries pretty good. The cheese doesn't go yuck when it cools down. The grilled haloumi is a bit weird and doesn't taste like haloumi though

EV Liong

Say 'Hello!' To Christiano behind the bar and you'll get an amazing cocktail to your liking

Reg L

Sheltered rooftop bar . Go for the cocktails and Pacifico beer .

Kate Bromley

Yummy cocktails - awesome music - great vibe...once you find it.

Marianne N

Nice outdoor area , I enjoyed my prawn salad , although the options were a bit over priced

Tina Cho

Book a table, it gets pretty packed

Jordan H.

Nicely tucked away - go into the bland office lobby and take the lift to floor 'R '.

Warren Bain

Great new bar , airy, light filled and fun

Tim

The garlic and ginger chicken burger is worth it!

Mooksy ♔

Great service and cocktails but disappointing half lobster . Overcooked, dry and rubbery. Lobster roll was ok. Fried mars bars and cheesecake was a highlight.

Fran Cormack

Great bar hidden away yet still busy

Rory Colsell

Those lobster croquettes are the business!

Kylie F

They have anchor steam on the beer list !!!

Yasmin Yazdani

Don't order the Rasberry Beret unless you're a fan of cough syrup !

Kat McArt

Be patient with the table service. The gin drinks are tasty.

Enrico Becker

Awesome rooftop bar :) what a secret sydney tip :)

Eylem Altuntas

Truffle fries ????

Aurélie Ménard

Good vibes and great lobster risotto ! Yum!

Ed

atmosphere, fair food

Jena Bena

Great gin cocktails !

Tamires Nogueira

Veeeeery good!

Valentina Borbone

Pretty noisy if you're planning a chat, but nice atmosphere and funky

Andrew Xu

Nice truffle fries and onion rings

Jonathan Ross

Awesome atmosphere

Gina Leung

On second thought, still great atmosphere - rockin music - and not bad service. Cocktails lack luster and food is not good and overpriced. Don't waste your time on the overcooked burgers .

George Westcott

Great rooftop bar .
