Classic bar at the Willard hotel with classic cocktails (albeit too sweet). Unfort the bar isn’t as striking as the lobby. Don’t go out ur way unless ur a history buff or a hotel guests

Impeccable service!

Not exactly a young crowd. (Read: lots old guys in blue blazers and khakis.) But the wine was great and you always see someone notable there. A dignified DC watering hole.

Now that the templates is dipping down, order an Irish coffee to warm up

amazing historical location - and the Laphroiag is reasonably priced!

Far from impressed by the service and the drinks. Additionally, staff gave me attitude for ordering two drinks while my companion was in the restroom . Needless to say, I won't be back.

Very bad experience at bar : were charged for a port wine 4X as expensive as the one we ordered, waiter (Glenn) refused to believe us.

Jim Hewes is one of the best bartenders in DC. Great history from this guy.
