Super cool and hipster venue. Lots of space at outdoor, perfect for sunny weather; inside is chill and cool as well . Highly recommended! Tip: check their website for special event before u go!

What a cool find. This out of the way industrial site houses a beach , an ace bar and an exhibition space. The food was brilliant. The pulled pork is fantastic. Get the Artichoke too.

Hip beer garden / city beach / restaurant . It's one of the main coasting places for the private boats as well . You can enjoy 'roest', beach , canal and music at the same time at the same place.

Day or night, this place has something for everyone, tons of seating (hammocks , benches , boats, dock side, etc), awesome laid back crowd, daily entertainment (check their website), & good drinks.

City beach in summer & a hip place to be at any other time of year, Roest has a laid-back vibe, live DJ every night & lots of special events . Situated in a red brick converted industrial building.

Absolutely fantastic place to hang out with your friends if you are more into trendy , cozy bars . Very hipster atmosphere. Once in a while there is a 2nd hand market just right in front of the bar .

Old industrial complex with (in summer) city beach on water front. Try Grimbergen dubbel on tap : a tasty dark amber beer . They serve snacks here to accompany drinks. Wine servings are (too?) small.

every night there is a thematic event . They have a beach , nice to go in the afternoon when there is still sun and stay until late dancing or talking in front of the fire.

Dinner from the food trucks is cheap and there's a lot of it. Also love the fire pit they have Great atmosphere and free water at the end of the bar .

My new favorite place to chill in Amsterdam (apparently Jason Silva likes to hang out here as well ), it's a hybrid of city beach , beer garden , events venue, and restaurant .

Great 'Berlin' atmosphere with a laid back crowd. It has a really cosy beach . Not the best party venue though, the music can't be played loud due to neighbor complaints.

In the summer, get a 'baguette ' and some cheese at the bar . Then chillout and enjoy a quiet morning in the sand. In the noon, take a swim ! Jump from the rope!

This place can turn wild on a perfect sunny day on a weekend! They have an amazing fire pit and a small beach to enjoy the perfect weather!

It's a bit far from the city center, but well worth the trip. Beautiful, cozy decor , a great crowd, and really nice staff .
