Shelsky’s Brooklyn Bagels

Believe the hype about Shelsky’s. They made a perfect jersey pork roll , egg , & cheese on a pepper & salt bagel . For a new place their operation is humming.

Fantastic quality bagels and fixins! FYI: no smoked fish by the pound, though.

Eater: Modernist bagelry has bagel classics in small, dense form; sports spicy outliers like numbing Sichuan peppercorn bialy ; a sourdough starter in the bagels , actual egg in the egg bagels

Order a “Member of the Tribe”- Nova smoked salmon , plain or scallion cream cheese on a bagel or bialy . That is all.

Whole wheat everything bagel is so nice and crispy on top, soft underneath!!

Can’t beat their sesame bagel . The little bit of salt goes a long way ????????
