Airy space and great service, plus delicious drinks and food! You must try the green tomato cocktail . Also, fried eggplant , short rib , and tomato salad are not to be missed. Dessert was great too!
Do a bunch of small plates to sample the flavors. The Grocery was the best meal we had in Charleston, better than Husk and easier to get into. The okra fried, pickled , and roasted was unbelievable!
Wonderful! Had the oysters , pickled shrimp salad , squid , and peanut butter bar . All was excellent. The squid was by far my favorite. Definitely a top 5 of Charleston restaurant !
The Grocery is a great stop for drinks during happy hour or a place to share as many plates as the table can handle—go for the dishes like pig skin pad Thai or bone marrow brûlée. [Eater 18 Member] Read more
This place is incredible! everything was incredibly fresh delicious vibrant well servesd unique menu unique ingredients- spectacular. I would come back to Charleston just to eat here again.
A great stop for drinks during happy hour (order the fried oysters , while they're still around) or a place to tuck in for an evening, with "table" entrees made to split between the entire party.
This is by far the best food we have ever eaten. Nothing in my life could beat the dinner I just had. The pork trio for two, with the new potato sides. The puff duck pastry & pimento cheese bite app.
Take a walk on the wild side with Chef Kevin Johnson’s Pig Skin Pad Thai . Also popular is the Piggy Plate with its selection of five different house-cured meats.
We had fried oysters , pad Thai , clams , roasted broccoli , and magyu steak . All absolutely amazing! Great flavors throughout. Though extremely pricey great experience!

Try the soft shell crab , that is cooked in the oven at 800 - 950 degrees, especially during spring time. Shown in Chuck's Eat The Streets TV show.
Great service, cozy and romantic date spot . Farm/Sea to table. Really yummy.
The fried pickled green tomatoes are outstanding, sweet and sour with a nice kick. And served on an old Coke bottle that's been cut in half
Great atmosphere and great food. Ask the servers for suggestions on the eclectic small plates
Great brunch ! The pimento cheese grits are to die for.
Start with the Piggy Plate ! May we recommend the Lamb Osso Bucco & the Triggerfish!
Best. French. Toast . Ever. Anyone who disagrees is simply wrong.
Great neighborhood spot . Food is delicious, and there's a great beer selection .
Really fabulous restaurant . Match it with any world class place. Top twenty of my life.
Very delicious. Staff is very attentive...and they have free parking too!
