Nakamise Shopping Street

So much to see and buy! This is a great place to find little souvenirs for friends if you're visiting Japan. Many of them are tourist items and cheaply made, but there are good finds here if you look.

Great place for souvenirs and sweets leading up to Sensoji temple . The area there is known for tempura restaurants and stew street.

One of the best places in Tokyo to shop for cheap souvenirs . Shop and taste Japanese sweets and street food at the same time. Weekdays are less crowded .

Nakamise is a traditional name given to shopping streets on the grounds of temples/shrines, this street stretches from the Kaminarimon Gate towards Sensoji Temple is one of the oldest & most famous

Allegedly d oldest shopping street in Tokyo. Lots of souvenir & handicraft shops. Plenty of food outlets2. Very touristy so prices tend 2b more expensive .

Best shopping street for tourists so far. You can find traditional snacks , candies , keychain, yukata and also soft cream !

Eat some sweets and buy souvenirs along the main road , Nakamise. Ningyoyaki!

Tourists everywhere, you just get swept along. Great for cheap souvenirs . But I'd recommend the traditional Japanese sweets instead.

Amazing market but it's for tourists so it's expensive and always super crowded

All shits are extremely expensive . Shops at the airport sell much cheaper

浅草寺の目の前にある宝蔵門から雷門に至る参道の両側に並ぶ商店街を仲見世と言います。 浅草名物の雷おこしをはじめ、和装小物 、玩具 、舞扇、かんざしなどを美しく飾りたてた店が軒を連ね、下町情緒を味わうことができます。

2018／3月現在夜23:00までライトアップ中。昼間の喧騒が嘘みたいに静か 。店は開いてませんがシャッター アートを見ながらのんびり歩くのもいいと思います♪

2009年6月27日(土) 浅草 仲見世通り Asakusa Town, Nakamise Shopping Street.

新型コロナウイルスの影響で驚くほど閑散としている。

食べ歩きはマナー違反です。 Eating around is bad manners.

浅草寺につながる商店街です。

夜はシャッター が閉まりますが、全店のシャッター に浅草っぽい柄が印刷されています。

女性用はこれを左に見送ってまっすぐ行くと伝法院の壁が見える頃の左手にあります。

この道「仲見世通り」には「浅草仲見世商店街」があります。

ここは男性用ということです。
