A very cozy place with good food. Menu is only in German but the schnitzel was excellent!
Excellent food overall, my favorite being the Beef Tartar - one of the best you can get in Vienna.
After an evening at the theater , stop by Café Engländer for a glass of wine . It’s a wonderful place to meet up with friends.

the food is ordinary, nothing special. the waiters are not nice at all, they were frowning at us all the time and told us strongly that the menus are only german.

Очень понравилось. Отличная еда и обслуживание. Днем есть типа комплексный обед - достойный. Очень многолюдно .
Befftartar ausgezeichnet. Tafelspitz ist besser als Plachutta.
Leider baut dieses Cafe deutlich ab. Die Sitze schmuddelig, die Tische nicht sauber. Am Rotweinglas die Spuren des Vorgängers. Ekelhaft. Bin seit Jahren hier Gast gewesen. Derzeit no go.
