The Jewel Tower dates back over 700 years and is an intriguing visitor attraction in the heart of Westminster. It was built around 1365 to house Edward III’s treasures and was known as the ‘King’s Privy Wardrobe’.

Small but for some reason fell on love with the tower! There is a small shop as you enter the tower! Coffee and drinks served here along with Medieval music ! Loved it!
Sole surviver of the Privy Palace within the great medieval palace of Westminster. Built to safeguard Edward III's royal treasures. Run by English heritage.
If I have to be honest, its not really worth the ticket price to go beyond the ground floor, which you can wander around for free. It is run by English Heritage though, so a worthy cause.
1365. Pretty cool.
I really enjoyed this and did not expect to. Some great history. The jubilee carriage is a great blend of old and new technology and not something to miss. Audio tour is essential - Tyler Tanner
