Westminster Hall is the oldest building on the Parliamentary estate. What makes it such an astonishing building is not simply its great size and the magnificence of its roof, but its central role in British history.

Scenographic view , probably the best (and most tourist ) of London
Love the view from the river side. Snap Big Ben . Dislike the protest and camp right front of the main gate.
Lovely view from the riverside. If you have the time, book a guided tour through the hall and the parliament, a great experience!
This hall is where modern democracy was born and also where William Wallace, King Charles I and Guy Fawkes were tried.
This is the oldest part of Westminster Palace , built for William II in 1097. This was the meeting place for medieval parliaments and courts, and is where Charles I was put on trial in 1649.
When the monarchy was restored in 1660, Charles II had Oliver Cromwell’s body dug up, hanged and beheaded. For many years the head sat on a spike on the roof of Westminster Hall.
16 October: on this night in 1834, the medieval Palace of Westminster caught fire. As the building burned, Lord Althorp cried out: 'Damn the House, let it blaze away; but save, oh save the Hall.'
if you can manage to get an MP to take you to the strangers bar on the terrace you are in for a real treat
Walk on the lawn across the street for better view . Break a the norm a bit
