The London Eye is a attraction Waterloo London located in United Kingdom.
The Queen's Walk (Belvedere Rd) London Greater London SE1 7PB United Kingdom
Delightful views of the Thames , Elizabeth Tower, The Shard, The Gherkin , etc.. you're able to see London's past & present. Book your tickets in advance, take the champagne tour and soak up the sights
Make sure to go for the 4D experience before/after and get your pic taken. Marked footsteps on the floor are where a picture will be snapped at the end. Not everyone notices it. Smile for the camera ????
A half hour slow turning ride that gives you amazing panoramic view of the London cityscape . Each pod holds up to 25person with ipads installed in each pod for further info on what you're seeing
Definitely worth its price! Picturesque view ,long enough circle. Highly recommend this sight. You can ask for some specials in the ticket office . For students it's 18 pounds, when original price is 21.
A long wait in the queue but worth it. Great views of London & the Thames river . Beautiful during the day or night time.
Fast track or prebook ur tickets. Great experience, doesn't take long. Best at dusk. You can't come to London & not ride the London eye
Don’t worry about getting a good seat, get a good spot to stand and don’t forget to pose for the photo at the end of the trip!
Tick them s off your list when you go to London. The queue is long especially in the afternoon, so get the fast track pass if you don't like waiting. Get a pass for other attractions , better deal.
The view is breathtaking! Tickets are a bit expensive though. If you are scared of heights, trust me it is so slow and smooth you won't even feel the movement. It's a must!
It is a must visit place when you are in london but if you want to go in the actual ride ether buy a ticket online or buy the london pass otherwise you would wait for an extremely long queue.
An awesome experience if you get to go on it. One of the highlight attractions in London. The view of the city and Westminster from here are breathtaking.
See everything London has to offer in one fell swoop, with a beautiful view from which to enjoy it. The London Eye defines good London attractions and is a must for all tourists . Read more
Great place to take ur family, and ur friends show them the amazing views from great heights straight across the River Thames and above the Houses of Parliament ????????had an amazing time ???? thanks
A must-go place once you are in London, and remember to watch a 4D show with your ticket just after the big round.
It's a long line to get on and essentially a Ferris wheel. Sit at the park where u go in and people watch instead and take pics of it. Very few super clear days of London to see skyline anyways
Great views of London ! If there's a long line you can pay extra for a fast ticket! Also when you're getting on it doesn't stop moving so be prepared to board while it moves slowly
If you can, buy your ticket online, then you can also choose the sunset time at no extra cost! And you don't have to queue for hours. Spectacular ride. 20 people, but enough space to move around.
Great way to see the city , we went at sunset so saw the city lights plus a sunset . We spent extra for the fast pass and it was worth it, only had about a 15 min wait instead of over an hour.
This is a very busy area, but it is well signed and easy to navigate. The ride itself is fantastic and offers wonderful views of London - especially if you are a picture taker.
Very big line in the weekends. For the best photos and view better go in the morning or in the evening on sunset . Afternoon no reason to visit course the sun under Big Ben and it's impossible to catch
If you want to collect the photo they make on the cab, take note of the number of the cab you are in (it is written on the front door). That will facilitate collection of the photo.
The best view of my life! Loved it! Truly amazing! That's something you won't find in any other city ! Visit i around midday. Also, go for the 4D experience, provided free with your ticket. Magical!
Buy 4 museums ticket online! It's worth it .MADAM TUSSAUDS + LONDON EYE + LONDON DUNGEON + SEA LIFE AQUARIUM !Buying online you don't have to wait in the queue!30 Min. seeing all London was so cool!
You can see the fireworks all along the Thames , but Jubilee Gardens and the London Eye are the centerpiece. – Green Guide Editor
Really awesome to say the least. I left New York yesterday morning and now up here. This country show so much love you can feel it. I'm very grateful to be able to see this moment.
You cannot come to London and not get on the London Eye. Price is a bit steep, but it's a great opportunity to see London in a 360-degree view .
Buy a fast track ticket if you can afford too otherwise the queue is very long. The ride gives a great opportunity to see lots of popular London attractions .
The Coca-Cola London Eye is centrally located in the heart of the capital, gracefully rotating over the River Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben .
Have a combo ticket to ride up and down the Thames first. It gives a lot of useful info about London so by the time you ride the eye, you got a better idea of what you're seeing. Great view up there
Book your ticket online, pick a clear-sky day and visit early in the afternoon to avoid the long queue. You'll love the view as the sun sets behind the Houses of Parliament!
Brilliant, smashing, worth every penny! If the lines are long opt for the Fast Track and zoom straight on! ????????????
Built in 2000 to celebrate the millennium, the London Eye—originally nicknamed “the London Eyesore”. It’s London’s best viewpoint (with up to 65 km visibility on a rare clear day).
Lovely view , ability to take your own pics of London. Downside- if you're a couple with a big crew by chance you'll skip a nice London eye pic by the ride itself.
Take a 30-40 min travel to get good views of the city . It is not the highest point (that is the observatory in the shard) but views towards parliament give it the upperhand.
The best bird's eye views of London ! Book the tickets online in advance and try to choose a sunny day for your visit.
Worth every penny. The champagne is good, not have to wait in line is even better. And the Pommery bar is a great way to spend yoyr time before the tour
Wondering if the Queen is at home? You can see them all from the London Eye. The London Eye is Europe’s largest Ferris wheel, built 21 years ago for the celebration of 2000. Read more
WONDERFUL Experience! <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="https://hostelgeeks.com/fun-things-to-do-london/"target="_blank" data-sig="b5FoOQwVH7WqnmgHPgu47L47Ca4=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">https://hostelgeeks.com/fun-things-to-do-london/</a> We even included it in our fun things to do in london :)
It was snowing so we thought the London Eye would give us a unique view . It was unique and very costly.
Pay by cash inside the box office museum , pay by card only accross the box office museum . 26 pounds per person (adult). Get the package with other attractions for cheaper ticket.
Fast Track line looks a lot slower than it actually is. Worth the extra money. Note: Fast Track/Flexi tickets can't be collected using the self-service kiosks if you purchased with American Express.
A must-do. If you can, time it around the sundown, so you get daytime views going up and nighttime views coming down!
Thrilling experience. However, Fast Track is recommended due to the long queue in normal track . You'll also get 4D experience!
By far the best view of London . Do not miss the chance to get on this attraction ... By the way, they DO have AC in summer (thanks)
Few views of London compare to those of the London Eye experience. Nice 30 minute ride with panoramic views of the city
Nice ride. Once done make sure day time walk on river on ur left towards Southbank Centre and past it..nice scenic walk with rest's cafes shops etc
Since its opening in 2000, the Ferris wheel “London Eye” has become a main attraction of the city . From the highest point (135 m), you can nearly get a 40 km view – stunning!
After the London Eye, there's a best Chinese Beijing cuisine - Zen China Restaurant , right next to it inside the County Hall building on the terrace . The best Beijing Duck I've ever had and beautiful
Back in 1993, a couple, David Marks and Julia Barfield, sat down at their kitchen table and made the very first drafts of what was to become the largest Ferris Wheel in the world. Read more
