Blackheath Ave London Greater London SE10 8XJ United Kingdom
Save 10 pounds -- stand on the path up the hill below the meridian and line up the line on wall to your back and look down at the building with the four stacks. Line up with the second stack from the
Scenic views of London. If you want the free pictures of meredian then there is a spot outside the museum . Don't miss the clock museum , shows beautiful time pieces.
The Peter Harrison planetarium was my favourite. I wish I'd spent more time there than at the Flamsteed house. Loved Dark Universe with Neil Degrasse Tyson played on the ceiling of the planetarium .
A great location that's always full of tourists . Still it's a wonderful spot for a great view of this side of London including Canary Wharf and the shard in the distance
Don't just see the Prime Meridian! There's lots of history of clocks and measuring time here. They will announce when actors perform in the Octagon Room, keep a lookout! Very funny.
If you don't want to pay 7£ just to take picture with 0' Meridian, go around and there is place through a small gate. And there is about two meters of meridian coming through the wall.
It's not just the meridian line that you are paying 7 pounds for. Museum exhibit makes it worth the cost. Take your time. You could easily spend 2 hours here.
Try to visit this place as early as you can to find it less crowded (check their opening hours)
Take a photo with one foot in the West and the other in the East.
Zero point ☺️ starter meridian. Green, quiet , beautiful village . You will like it ????
It's only 7GBP...pay it and you can afterwards say that you have been on both sides of the Meridian line at the same time.
This place is very magical place. You can see zero meridian and if you want you can walk on the meridian. Everyone must see before you will die. ????????⌚????
There is an amazing view over the city and canary wharf. Early in the morning is the best! No tourists and the air is SO clear! A dream!!!!
Bit pricy to stand on a line . Save yourself 10 pounds and do the free version beneath it, on the path.
GPS uses a meridian a little further from the the one defined in the International Meridian Conference of 1884. So don't feel bad about your GPS phone showing few seconds of longitude instead of zero.
Awesome location with nice view over docklands and Canary Wharf
Maybe get here early morning and/or in the week as the tourists flock en masse Saturday and Sunday afternoon
You need to pay to get in to see the meridian line . Free entry for London pass holders.
One of the coolest Swarm check-ins I've ever done. The museum was totally worth it, too.
It's worth paying the entry fee not just for the GMT but also for the great exhibitions about time and the opportunity to see the UK's largest telescope
The place of the famous meridian, yessss! And with an amazing view !
The coolest location to be in two places at once. <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://bitly.com/XIndXk"target="_blank" data-sig="C9ohl80aDnZbo21U02NLuRWb4fQ=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://bitly.com/XIndXk</a>
The middle of the world !! A must see if you are in Greenwich
You can have a free picture in front of the smaller line just next to the main entrance downstairs
Want to be in 2 places at once?! Get here. Great views & bucket list ticking off done in one location :)
If u go by tube, get ready for a long walk. 5 pounds for the entrance to the Meridian Line .
Easy to find: it's where all the people are gathered to take a picture ;)
Dont go here by shared bike . There are no bike stands. You are outside the zone and need to go back to return. :/ but the path is lovely
Amazing place but there is nothing to do after. A huge line almost make me cry! ???????? hahaha
Nice park , but paying 10 pounds for looking at a line on the ground sounds like a complete ripoff.
Definitely one of the most important places in the world. Sadly, not interesting enough for typical tourists .
A must visit place in London :)
Worth paying 7£ to get in. Scratched it off my bucket list. For booking : bookings@nmm.ac.uk or you can call: +44(0)2083126608.
Astonishing view of Canary Wharf and beyond.
Stand on the Prime Meridian line , one foot east and one foot west :) Zap a pic!
Lovely gardens , recalls the White House
Head thorough the gate slightly down the hill for a free meridian line
Do as everyone else. Stand with one foot in the west and one in the east...
Open until 17pm, but the view up there at night is just AMAZING!
Go after dark and see the laser shining across London marking the meridian line .
Jump high and stare into the laser beam. Become meridian blinded.
Great view
The steel sculpture was not there when we visited yesterday.
You dont have to go inside there is a gate near the clock you can take photos there
Check out the green laser in the sky, shot from the meridian on the hill :)
the line inside the building
Dividing the world:)
Dont go early cause there are a lot of kids
it's 0° ????
