If you really love pineapple , this place is your Mecca, Jerusalem, and Vatican all rolled in to one. Otherwise, the maze and train are still a decently fun way to spend an afternoon.

It’s honestly rly fun! The maze is large enough that it’ll actually take some time to solve, and definitely stay for some dole whip and the train tour .

While you can’t make a day of it, it’s fun nonetheless. The maze was really fun and I actually learned a lot (pineapples grow through the crown!). Not a must see but a nice place to stop by.

Not a bad 1-2-hour stop to check out some pineapple-related stuff. The Dole Whip alone made it worth it. The train ride is affordable , was a nice ride and still somewhat interesting.

Shops are very expensive but the 30 minute train tour is interesting and informative. Spent about 4 hours there including touring the gardens . Great if you’re looking for something slow paced to do.

It's definitely touristy but in a good way. They have great gifts and some really cool gifts if you search. (Eg leather bracelets you can personalize for those Lucky /InStyle gals).

Unless you are a maze fanatic, or are a garden lover, save your money and only purchase the train ticket. The 20 min tour gives you a good overview of the industry and you get to see pineapple fields .

Stay on the highway don't enter the parking lot and u will see exactly the same like on the Pineapple Ex. There is a pineapple field right opposite of it. Don't pay for that 20$ ride.

Pineapple Dole whip float ($6.95) also comes with souvenir mug, which I find awesome. Also, buy the Chocolate covered pineapple from the gift shop - yummy!! Lastly, check out the fish outside!

One person in your party should get dole whip in a cup. The other should get the pineapple upside down cake . Then share generous portions between the two of you and voila, pineapple cake a la mode

We had a car and drove versus paying for them to take you. Loved it. Lots of fun. Need to try the dole pineapple ice cream . A must!

Pretty much a tourist trap. Go once, get some Dole Whip with fresh crushed pineapple topping, and get out.

Amazing experience here. We tried the Dole whip , bought an authentic tiki and did the maze. The maze was actually SO fun & that's coming from 2 grown ass adults haha

The Plantation is one of the few places where you can get a a Dole Whip (soft serve vanilla ice cream with pineapple ). Be sure to try one!

Train ride is cool for kids and I enjoyed it as well . I'd avoid paying for the other two activities (maze and garden tour ).

Walk past the vendor carts and hang a right. Walk past all the pineapple plants to the pond where 50¢ gets you a handful of fish food to feed the koi! So worth watching them - they are vicious!

If hyper-commerciality does not irk you, feel free to go. Otherwise, avoid and go straight to the North Shore. Dole Whip tasted sugary and pineapple tasted tart . #GMO

Maze is only fun on the paper. pineapple whip and drinks are good. Garden tour is boring. Train tour is fun and acknowledge

Don’t need an entrance ticket to get the food or Dole Whip !

The Garden Tour isn't worth it. There are no pineapples to pick or see. Do the train , beautiful photo ops. And DoleWhip is a must.

Skip the Pineapple Express train , leave the whole compound and drive past the vast pineapple fields next to the plant. Same thing, but free.

Really wanted to try the ice cream , but the line moved at a snail's pace and our tour bus only gave us 20 minutes. ????

The rainbow eucalyptus trees outside were tippy and cool looking. Go for the pineapple whip with diced pineapples .

All pineapple everything, everywhere. They also have really great souvenirs.

Unless you have kids , not worth the drive. Food was ok. Souvenirs are priced high. Long waits for tickets and the train . If you come after 12, wait is about an hour. Also maze closes on rainy days.

According to these tips, the train ride is boring, but let me tell you, when it's raining and the train breaks down after an hour of queue, it's a perfect storm of hilarious stupidity

The Dole whip is worth a stop and visit here. Be aware they do try to catch you with the whole pearl gimmick thing, but saying "No" is sufficient
