Cool place with history. I recommend the Senator Breakfast on a morning that you didn't have time to cook, tastes homemade (in the good way) well worth your ten bucks.

The French toast and the egg Benedict were perfect. I didn’t like the Senator omelette that much. Generally it is a great restaurant w good staff .

Such an enjoyable and tasty breakfast ! The food is delicious and local! I would highly recommend this busy restaurant , but prepare yourself for a wait because it is very popular!

The most delicious breakfast I have ever had was from the Senator! It is definitely worth the long wait ! All of their food is from the area and is so delicious.

Pancakes were excellent. So was eggs benedict florentine with home fries , biscuit n beans. Home style old school diner just steps away from the most commercialized intersection in Canada. Amazing

Amazing pancakes ! Fluffy and flavorful, why isn't there a line around the block? My Benedict fan give two thumbs up to the eggs here but beware the ham is different than our US version, still tasty!

Had the breakfast special - smoked salmon Benedict . Delicious! Simple, tasty food. Loved it! Chilli sauce is amazing and they sell it in jars. Highly recommend this spot.

The Senator Breakfast is NOT with Peameal Bacon , just regular. If you are wanting "canadian bacon " - go with the Eggs Benedict

The corn fried shrimp were delicious and so was the Halibut and Chips . They also carry Goslings Gingerbeer.

The quaint 40s style of this place is unmatched in Toronto. Decent breakfast - try their homemade hot sauce .

Tried the steak and eggs and have to say was nothing special. Surprised that they didn't ask how u like ur steak and have it presented medium rather than well done. A bit expensive considering quality

Came here because the reviews were so good; extremely disappointed. Worst egg Benedict and not cheap . Poached eggs were all hard and the tiniest drop of sauce that we had to ask for more just to eat.
