What? A FREE museum ??? I enjoyed this museum immensely. Great collection of railroad memorabilia , especially the Union Pacific collection. Nice to see the old Carnegie Library building repurposed.

Impressive collection of Union Pacific memorabilia from a variety of eras, all housed in a beautiful old Beaux Arts library in downtown Council Bluffs.

Beautiful fountain! Great place to throw in pennies and make wishes; plus just trailing my fingers in the water. The sprinklers are fun too. The kids love it and have a great time! - Lorena Kaasch
