The happy hour here is the most legit Spanish ¡Hora de tapeo! $6 glasses of wine and 1/2 priced Sangria , and with every round you'll receive a tapa on the house aka a montadito.
Delicious in every way. MUST GET the following: leche Frita (dessert ), patatas bravas , and croquetas - the squid ink and lamb skewers are good & charcuterie plate (not worth $16, is it ever?).
Best tapas place in NYC - hands down. The new "hora de tapeo" will make you feel as if you were in Spain. Absolutely must get the patatas bravas . Highly recommend!!
This is an amazing tapas spot. Chicken liver mousse is the best I've ever had. Also classics like Serrano ham , padron peppers and tortilla espanola . Flan was perfect. Their specials are great too!
Tia Pol is my favorite spot in Chelsea, pull up a seat at the bar and have a crisp cava and some tapas . My faves are the skirt steak , shishito peppers , patatas bravas and the white artichoke salad . ❤️
Start off with a bowl of fried chickpeas and then move on to other Spanish small plates like the chorizo in sherry , the squid served with ink and rice , and the lamb skewers cooked in Moorish spices. Read more
fantastic tapas (but not typical tapas – local, market ingredients, very pure). Great place to hang out and relax. Its tiny, though, so seats can be hard to come by. Cool wine list . In far west Manhat
Literally everything! Start with a Sangria and chorizo along with Plato de quesos . Then you can go to Jamon Serrano , Patatas as Bravas and other delicious tapas options! Salute! ????
Grab a bottle of wine , order your favorite tapas , drink some wine then order more food. Tia Pol has good wine , good food, and good vibes.
Very very good Tapas , but the chickpeas well those are special, deviled eggs and churros are delicious. Tight quarters and intimate .
Great place for tapas , good selection of wines and cavas . The patatas bravas were really delicious and the pimientos too.
Awesome little tapas joint in Chelsea. Tiny spot so be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. Get the croquettes , blistered peppers , garlic shrimp . But my fav was the anchovies with olives !
Txipirones, patatas bravas and boquerones are a MUST. If you feel like drinking, sangria is also great (1 pitcher for 5-6 glasses)
Everything is delicious. Chicken liver mousse , deviled eggs , sardines, and the gambones were excellent. A cozy place for passing the afternoon away drinking wine .
Wonderful spot with an amazing selection of tapas . Wait times can be a bit long but definitely worth it. Potatoes were great, and don't miss shrimp .
Pork sandwich , patatas bravas , croquetas , and artichoke salad are must haves - squid ink rice too. Slightly on pricey side but to be expected with tapas
All the food was amazing (we got the clams , anchovies , and the suckling pig special). The service is also amazing.
It seems like there aren't many tapas restaurants in New York. This cosy one is very nice though. Great staff , loved the sangria and the Spanish cheese platter .
Amazing tapas , great service, absolutely loved it. One constructive criticism: I wish their red wine was a little bit cooler. It's too warm right now.
Tia Pol serves up traditional spanish tapas and an all-spanish wine list in a simple, narrow restaurant where the dark wood tabletops will be crowded with a variety of small dishes that pack a punch. Read more
We had a great mixture of vegetarian and meat tapas and loved them all. Would highly recommend the spinach coquettes and lamb skewers .
Excellent buttifara sandwich : pork sausage , caramelized onions and a soft cow's cheese .
Fried chickpeas , cava , vermouth selection and a wonderful artichoke and white asparagus salad . A High Line hideaway.
Really really good tapas ! The restaurant doesn't have lot's of tables, so if you don't have a reservation you probably need to wait for a tables.
The atmosphere is great but the tapas are super. Croquette is so rich. Lamb skewer also great. Pig ear was...if you like.
Food is great, recommend wine was ????????, but the fried custard leche frita desert was delllllicious. Don't miss it!!!
I love this quaint tapas bar , and the menu is authentic . The brandada is delicious, the clams are also excellent. Always crowded and they don't take reservations .
Start with a bottle of wine & a cheese plate , and then split patatas bravas , pimientros, croquetas , gambas al ajillo , & huevos rellenos ... so good!
Good selection of Spanish cheeses and wine . Avoid sitting in the middle right by kitchen window, seating is not the most comfortable (backless stools). I wasn't a huge fan of this place overall
Your inclination may be to avoid the crowd in Tapas crazed Chelsea, but the food is worth the inconvenience of close quarters. Suckling pig , tripe soup , and croquettes are standouts.
This tiny tapas joint serves up some of the best red sangria and patatas braves we've had - trust us!
Super yummy and the closest tapas to Spain I've had on the city . Get the plates bravas , flan w/cherries and sangria .
Get the squid in ink with rice , the patatas bravas , chorizo al jerez, and, of course, the daily croquettes . One of the best tapas restaurants in NYC hands down.
Without a doubt, the best tapas restaurant in New York, with a great all-Spanish wine menu to boot.
Churros are good, patas bravas , garbanzos fritos , chorizo , lamb skewers , everything good!
Great nook in west chelsea, txipirones en su tinta and blistered shishito peppers are delicious.
Go early or be prepared for cramped spaces and long lines . Great food, the plates are small but pace yourself, easy to fill up quickly.
Love it !! Everything was so good and the waiter was so nice .. I’ll be coming back!!
Sweet and friendly staff , delicious tapas offerings, nice ambiance. What more could you ask for?
A deliciously simple menu boasts such classic bites as deviled eggs with smoked paprika and patatas bravas with spicy aioli . You must try both.
Make a meal of small plates at this tapas bar serving authentic Spanish dishes in Chelsea.
Winner of Best Tapas in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Pair fried chickpeas with smoked paprika with a glass of Spanish red.
Great Iberian wine selection , a kickin' tapas menu and excellent service make this one of my favorite "after work" spots. -Jacqueline Lombard, Top Chef
Get a Estrella Galicia and some chorizo al Jerez. Forget about the tortilla - the one I make is way better - and love the embutidos ibericos.
Delicious fava bean purée with amazing olive oil .
Lamb skewers ,Gambas al ajillo, chicken liver , and sangria are a must!
Get the blistered peppers and the aged ham . Really, you can't go wrong on this menu. Delicious!
A nice stop for a glass of wine in the late afternoon. The food is ok, nothing special but with wine can get a few dishes and enjoy it.
The croquettes , the patatas bravas , the scallops and some Spanish red to wash it down. Amazing.
Great spot for Tapas - the flan for desert is amazing
