This plaza was remodeled in 2005. The reason it exists is that the zoning board said that 55 Water could be 5 stories taller if they dedicated an acre to public use.
Take the outdoor escalator between the buildings to get up to the plaza .
The best part - besides the view - is that you have to know it's there, so it feels super exclusive.
