rock solid place. good pho usually crowded with a mixed group and few out of towners which is usually a good sign
love the variety of pho this restaurant offers! been going here since hs. the spring rolls are amazing but make sure you order those before your pho because it takes longer to come out than the pho .
It’s been more than a decade since I first visited this place; and my order has always been the same – pho dac biet. And I’ll either add the spring rolls or summer rolls depending on my mood.
Quick and efficient service and food. Get the spring rolls or summer rolls to start, the the Pho Tai soup or the vermicelli noodles with beef . Leave so full and happy. Very inexpensive too!
Best pho broth on this stretch of Baxter. Extensive menu, try the bun cha . If coming on weekend, arrive earlier around noon to avoid the wait.
My favorite Vietnamese place in the city . The Vietnamese coffee for dessert is a must.
April Bloomfield: “Thai Son in Chinatown has great, inexpensive Vietnamese food . I especially like the Pho Bo Kho , which is a beef stew with noodles , radishes , carrots , bean sprouts , and cilantro ."
Awesome cheap Vietnamese. I've been going here for, maybe 15 years? Try 49 if you can't make up your mind. Remember to mix the vermicelli ! And get the summer rolls as an appetizer .
#1 (extra big bowl of pho ): they are not joking about the size. Even the takeout version is huge. Do not order it unless you intend to share or you don't plan on eating for the next 24 hours .
The Pho , summer rolls and spring rolls are amazing. Good atmosphere and clean . Very afortable . ????
I really liked the iced tea with condensed milk ! But I ordered a bahn-mi and after a really long wait they said they can’t do it. The soup was okay (tried my friend’s) but nothing super special ????
Hands down the best Vietnamese place I've ever been to. Delicious pho . Cha gio to die for!
#53 with spring rolls and pork is my go to for viet food when i don't want pho.quick, efficient and good price
Great pho here. I haven't been to a million Vietnamese places or Vietnam so I can't say this is one of the best, but it's never disappointed
New to Vietnamese, want authentic a good = Simple Beef Pho . Best I've ever had. Travel miles for it.
The grilled pork chops and beef meals are a delight here. Inexpensive and spacious place make a good group here.
Obsessed with lemongrass beef vermicelli noodles . Pho is awesome but the other options are great too.
The best bowl of pho I've ever tasted in my life. Also, my first foray into spring roll wraps .
Pho was great. Nothing was as expected but all was tasty. Don't skip the red bean ice cream .
Best Pho in NYC ! Can't wait to go back for some more. Make sure to get the Bo Kho (beef stew ).
Fast service , tasty, hot meals, and great prices. The beef sesame vermicelli is delicious and filling
The Pho ,summer and spring rolls were amazing. Very clean and afortable????
Chinese food that doesn’t disappoint. We have friends who are regulars for that exact reason.
Large portion . Tasty grilled pork in the vermicelli noodle salad (better than the prawn )
Good, cheap pho . Satisfies the comfort food cravings. My only complaint is that they water down the Sriracha . Lame.
The Pho Bo Kho is delicious

not sure if it's on the menu but the chicken bahn mi is really good!
They have really good summer rolls ! Their grilled pork chop is really good as well .
pho bo kho and the Vietnamese spring rolls
Best pho in NYC , hands down. Their bahn mi ranks up there also. Get the spring rolls or calamari for an appetizer .
Wow probably the biggest bowl of pho for the cheapest price in nyc!
Fried spring rolls are good. Frog legs with peppers and onions ., pho noodles , porkchop and rice . Everything is good except for banh mi
get the papaya salad ! pho etc and everything else is good/solid here.
very solid pho place , never too crowded , and surprisingly good ice cream .
Close and quick food if you are serving jury duty. Enjoyed the spring rolls and pho bo kho
Any kind of Pho ! Right kind of food for the cold weather.
The beauty of this dish lies in the diversity of textures, rich loamy flavors, and abundance of broken rice . Squirt on the sriracha !
The 10a is amazing! And you must leave room for a Rainbow!
#48 is good. Also, if you think #1 is too large, get #3 which is the same thing but smaller and save 50 cents!
Pho . Bun Bo hue on weekends. Springrolls. Summer rolls .
Pho is delicious. Spring rolls are also amazing!
Authentic food and delicious avocado shake . ????????
Tasty banh mi . My friends say it's the best on the block.
#46 pork chop with lettuce on rice vermicelli is awesome. Light and refreshing
Very nice service and a very large menu!
Definitely some of the best pho I've ever had! Portions are a little small though so be sure to get a large bowl :)
Decent Viet cuisine. Be sure to get the iced coffee to tame your tongue from all the heat!
No. 48 is perfect. The spring rolls are so delicious.
Surprisingly decent. Lovely juice menu, too.
