I know. You have had enough of museums already... Though this is genuinely a very good presentation of life in the DDR. full of interactive exhibits , I loved it... And I'm not easily impressed.Go late
Very touristic , but you get a lot of fun. The museum is very detailed and interactive. Even if the ticket is not that cheap , to visit once is worth it.
Spent 2hours inside, no queue at 5pm. Nice retro about how ppl lived back then. But tons of ppl live in similar flats now in Ukraine. Chech a Trabant inside and take it for a virtual ride! :)
Although the museum does not contain the most exciting stuff, it succeeds in providing great knowledge regarding that time not that long ago where the city was split into two.
Nice museum at Berlin; shows you the history of Germany and how Germans lived before. The German house was the most interesting part of museum .
Great museum , despite the touristy crowd. Interactive, individual, interesting. Worth the pricey entrance. Not to be missed - the new apartment and it’s tv with original DDR programming.
Most interactive museum in Berlin! It shows the life of german people in communism, but so so nice. It should be on your list if you come to Berlin :)
Interactive museum about the former GDR (socialist east Germany), worth checking out to see objects from the era & to learn about life in the GDR
Buy the ticket online and skip the queue! Try to find a time when it's not totally overcrowded, then you can enjoy the interactive parts. Otherwise it's a hassle to squeeze past everybody else...
Lovely museum about life in East Germany during the Cold War. Very immersive and insightful, and you get to visit a typical flat from that era.
The living room & kitchen recreation is really cool. You can take the books and board games out from the shelves to have a look inside or watch original TV programs.
A super informative and hands on museum . Gives you a full feeling of life behind the wall and all that it entailed. Hands on and mostly wheelchair accessible .
I really liked this museum , also because of the interaction. However, lots of people in a small space isn't ideal. Eat something in the DDR restaurant afterwards to complete the experience!
Probably one of the most interactive museums of the world, it's an amazing way to know what life was for berliners on the east side
cool, compact, and interactive museum full of remnants from the old east berlin, including a great replica of an apartment ...
Fun and informative interactive museum , a truly lovely experience. The DDR recipes at the restaurant are a nice touch
This a must see museum with a good insight into life in the erstwhile DDR. Gets very busy so get there early
Very fun museum with a lot of interactive exhibits . Not too big either so perfect if you have 2 hours to kill. Also, get 2 Euros off for checking in!
Most interesting museum in Berlin. Great way to learn the daily life in eastern germany
Nice museum , very interactive too. Be sure to take a ride in the trabi. You also get a discount when you are checked in on foursquare.
Really interesting here! A lot of things to try by yourself! You can book your tickets online
Really cool museum !!!! You can open, pickup and touch almost everything!!! Try the East German dance together, great fun!!
One of my least favourite museums during my trip to Berlin. Far too crowded so I couldn't actually read any of the exhibits .
Such a waste of time for £7 pp. it s so small and there is so few to see inside. I recommend everyone to go for Forum exhibition in Leipzig, it s also for free!
When I saw it, it was really crowded , but still really interesting. It takes more than two ours if you read everything
A great hands on museum that is mostly accessible. Gives you a real hands on adventure of life behind the wall.
Nice museum about life and culture of the GDR. Very interactive, reasonably informative. Usually very crowded !
Interactive museum about life in East Germany. You can even "drive" a Trabi.
The museum is really interesting and has a lot of information in a small space. It can get crowded .
Worth it for the Trabi simulator alone. A great interactive exhibition .
This doesn't feel like a museum at all. Lots of small activities to do. It's very fun and worth checking if you have an hour
If you have checked in before buying tickets, you can get a 2 euro discount . You have to insist that the app you have used to check in is Foursquare, otherwise they tend to say that it is not :D
great place to explore the lifestyle of socialist germans. it is a very interactive museum
Interactive, interesting and fun museum . Good choice to learn history in a different way.
Great interactive museum . Really funny :)
Very interesting museum , good bit of GDR history from the perspective of individual lives.
If you want to know how the people of the DDR (GDR) lived back in the days, you must visit this museum (ik geef het museum een 7).
Blast from the DDR past. I liked it. Reminds of my childhood in ex Yugoslavia. Recommend!
A place to be for history reason! You must see to believe what was happening
Funny interactive museum . Definitely worth a visit! Pretty packed.
One of the most interesting museums worldwide. Very educational !
Compact but very worth visiting! Very accessible for young people as well !
Cool interactive Museum , but to. Be avoided in adverse weather as it can be extremely crowded
Silly museum in fact. DDR history deserved so much more than a superficial exhibition .
This museum is fab. Really interactive and engaging but with all the legit content.
Actually fine for a first overview of life in the DDR. Very visual and interactive.
Interesting and interactive museum highlighting the lives of people in the DDR.
The whole history of the Democratic Republic years, awesome, a must

Amazing museum. If you can't go over all photos, they also sell picture books containing all exhibits. - J T
Lovely exhibitions, very interesting, with a slight caveat: very little sense of continuity between the halls and the exhibitions. Overall absolutely worth it. - Artemi Morningstar
The admission fee is 7 euro for adults but definitely worth paying it. - Haeseon
I love the street artist!! And the architecture is astonishing - Melissa Sue
Worth the money in order to see the view and have a drink. You can really enjoy the view! - Anastasis Ksouzafeiris
