One of the most beautiful museums I have ever seen. The contents are amazing but the museum building is a standalone beauty! Scene setting is great, rooms are beautiful and the Nefertete mesmerizing!
An overwhelming amount of objects from ancient history, beautifully displayed in an amazing building. Absolutely worth a visit (or two or three). Nefertiti is absolutely one of the biggest highlights
Large selection of ancient Egyptian findings. Make sure you don't miss level -1, where they keep some of the sarcophagus, masks and burial items in lower lighting. They are the most beautiful of all.
Start at the 1st (entry) floor and work your way up floor by floor. Then find the semi-hidden elevator to jet down to the 0th floor to finish it out, climb up to the 1st floor, visit the gift shop !
The museum building (and the way it was renovated) is in itself a sight. The Egyptian collection is large and amazing (incl. Nefertiti's bust). Check out also the top floor with European artifacts .
Impressive place. I loved the old/new architecture with all those wall pantings, vaulted ceilings and frescoes . One of my favorites on museum island . There's an audio guide, too.
Great collection of Egyptian artifacts . Seeing the breathtaking beauty of Nefertiti's bust is easily worth the visit.
Great collection! Take an audio guide, it helps a lot. Amazing Nefertiti bust, just breathtaking!
I found myself more enthralled by the architecture than the exhibits (other than the Nefertiti and the great selection of sarcophagi, not many 'blockbuster' attractions . A bit confusing in layout.
With the Nerfititi sculpture being the highlight, there is quite a lot to take in at this museum . They even have the graves with the bones inside and little niche items from the Egyptian ages.
The bust of Queen Nefertiti is the top attraction of the Egyptian Collection in the Neues Museum on Berlin’s Museum Island . Ask the Concierge for time slot tickets to avoid long waiting time
Meet the beautiful Nefertiti as she is the top attraction in the Neues Museum. If your hotel has a Concierge , make sure to ask them for time slot tickets to avoid long waiting time
Lovely exhibitions , very interesting, with a slight caveat: very little sense of continuity between the halls and the exhibitions . Overall absolutely worth it.
Egyptian collection and Early European Societies exhibit . The bust of Nefertiti is worth the price of admission alone.
Nefertiti bust is so beautiful, it is hard to believe it is 3500 years old. It existed even before Moses.
Must do! I recommend taking the museum pass to be able to visit all the museum island .
Egyptian museum if you didn't know. Included with the Berlin Welcome Card Museum Island . Definitely take your time to read through it all. You'll be amazed!
Best museum so far. Wonderful ambience with interesting exhibits mostly from ancient Egypt . A fantastic place.
Meet the beautiful Nefertiti as she is the top attraction in the Neues Museum. Ask the Concierge for time slot tickets to avoid long waiting time
Great collection. David Chipperfield 's reconstruction of the bombed-out Neues Museum is outstanding. check "Berliner Goldhut'
One of the best mseums, maily for those who love the Ancient Egyptian civilization.
Great Egyptian collection . It worth paying a visit
One of the Best Museums in Berlin. It has good collection. Highly Recommended 👍👍
Egyptian artifacts are priceless. Especially which involves Nefertiti. 3500 years old! Unbelievable.
Buy the island pass or check online for deals (sometimes they have tours for free) a great way to spend a day.
Roma, Greek, Egypt imperium. Lots of artefacts. Entry: €12 for pupils and students under 18 free. Beautiful place!
A museum in 3 floors for ancient egypt you can have free audio guide
Nice egyptian collection but i would rather see it in Egypt like this it seems a bit out of the context
Check out the Berlin gold hat. Never heard of it, but it is a bit bonkers and worth a look.
Perfect for a rainy day. Great education on ancient cultures for children.
Less busy than Pergamon museum , but still worth visiting. Get the audio tour .
Egyptian museum in Berlin. Don't miss Queen Nefertiti !
Love the juxtaposition of Chipperfield's restoration with the remains of the original Neues. And of course, Nefertiti.
Nefertiti and gold hat: that really worths the visit. Very good collection indeed.
Avoid the lines and by your pass at the Bode Museum and have them make your time reservation for the Peramonmuseum and the Neues while you're there.
If you like Egyptian history, it's one of your best choices.
It's sad to see that this museum must have very beautiful before being destroyed in war.
Audio Guide for free!
Good museum - never mind how many pictures you saw of Nefertete, the real thing is still impressive.
Winner of European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award 2011.
It's called new because it's newer then Old Museum , but actually it's the second oldest in the island .
So much history shared in a very accessible manner . Highly recommend.
The order of the exhibition is a bit weird, but the Egyptian pieces are beautiful.
It is the ideal museum for the people interested in Greek and Egyptian archaeology
The sister gallery of this excellent museum is located adjacent to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC!
Great museum with rich collection of Egyptian artworks.
Great if you're into egyptian and roman art . Bit dull if you're interests are mere superficial.
Mainly artifacts from Persia and Egypt. Top quality museum
Tons of stuff to see, but a real bummer on weekends and holidays.
Amazing architecture and collection. A must-see on Museumsinsel.

Subjectively speaking, it is the best museum of Berlin! Aesthetics all around! The collection is really rich and fascinating! - Semira M.
A well documented and explained exhibition about the history of the WWII and the nazi-period, takes quite some time to read everything though! - Mohamed Hisham
Amazing selection of art by mostly, but not only, German artists active during the 19th century. Very nice space. Open and lets you get very close to the artwork. - Viktoria Ejenäs
you must go for sure. on the top you have a beautiful city view - mellow mood
Wonderful and very photogenic island with free internet and rather expensive museums and Berlin dome. All of them close at 18:00 - plan your time wisely. - Aistė Lehmann
