Best sangria in Madrid can be found in the corner of the plaza they sell a large cup for 5 euro, soft notes of cinnamon . We also had the best paella here, seafood , meat, and veggie were all amazing
A beautiful market with lots of variety of food and cocktails to try from. Personal favorite the burrata , stuffed olives with salmon and Iberian ham . They also have wide variety of Paella and Oysters .
great local tapas vibe. the real deal. especially fun around the christmas holidiay. go for the cones of fried fish , the olives , and if the burrata stall is there, get it!
A great gathering of different booths who served a very tasty Spanish Tabaz, Make sure you go there really hungry to try as much as you can of delicious food
Establiah a base (get a table, even share one); get your wine , then go on the best tapas safari you’ll ever experience. Oysters are fresh, olives excellent. Finish w/ a coffee , you’re all set
My first time visiting Spain and this was one of the places our tour guide took us. Lots of great tapas and drinks and everything. Prices vary depending on what good purchase. Highly recommend
Una introducción perfecta a la gastronomía de España. A perfect introduction to Spain's gastronomy - jamón ibérico , oysters and wine are all here.
Crowdy, stilish, high quality food. Ask for the loca tapas and bring them to your hotel for better privacy. Every shop is organised with take away .
You need go in morning if you don’t what so busy place. But the taste experience if beautiful. Tasty sangria and the food is so good! You want to taste all.
It was very busy although it was Monday lunch !We tried all kind of tapas as well as wine sangria & sweet cider. If you’re a big group it would be very hard to find a large table. But highly recommended
Carnival of food and drink, big open indoor space where throngs fight for attention amongst rows of vendors preparing anything from sandwiches to empanadas , an array of tapas , sangría , wine , and beer .
Heaven for Spanish food filled with endless options for wine , ham , and tapas . It's a heated market that reminds me of Eataly in NYC.
At the 1st day of your 1st Madrid visit come here & taste eveything. Most fresh tapas are prepared here. You walk around the stands, eat and test every tapas together with wine-beer or cocktails . Pricy
This is a very tradicional Madrid place full of small vendors selling Spanish food . You will find everything here! The food is great, and I do recommend the empanadas .
Less a market than a Fantasia of tapas ! Such a great place to spend an hour delighting in a variety of food and drinks.Take a stroll around the market before deciding what you’d like.
Beautiful, high quality tapas stalls. A great place to sample a multitude under one roof. Very affordable wines as well .
Huge variety of fresh out-of-the-sea food. You should try oysters with white vine visit fresh seafood shop to the left of entrance.
Tapas for under 2€ here are a rare sight but you can find them! The fish market near the front was my favorite, each one of these was just 1€.
It’s VERY busy but I liked it. The food isn’t amazing at all and the prices are through the roof but it’s worth a visit and one bite to try.
Great place for tapas and drinks . Wide verity of everything from deserts to oysters . Bit expensive and hard to find a place to sit/stand but great atmosphere.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! FOOD EVERYWHERE!! got to try everything if you have the chance! Went there half of the time out of my 10 days in Madrid!
Came back here so many times while in Madrid. Great food and great drinks of all kinds with some expensive and some inexpensive options. Great place to eat tapas like the locals.
Great food market in centre of Madrid. Highly recommend you check it out! Lots of great options and a really nice setting. Can be a little €€€.
HIGHLIGHT of Madrid! Bustling market w/ all kinds of tapas , w/ descriptions in English + Spanish. Buy amazing bites for as little as one euro. Go from stand to stand, try everything, and have a blast!
So many options! It's not a farmer's market , more like a fancy , amazing food court with drinks, too! Go here for a meal and try one of everything! I challenge you.
A must! You cant not leave Madrid without going there for "Tapas " and drinks. Theres a spot for Burrata , and if you want sweet, the yoghurt place is awesome
a little stall makes pinchos at 1.5€ each. that is seriously cheap for the place and they are amazingly good. get the bacalao thingy and you won’t regret it.
If you don't know your way around this market , it could get quite expensive . I recommend the fish tapas at casa del bacalao, tasty, fresh and only 1€ each. Have them with a glass of wine and enjoy!
It is very nice to see and pass through! It can be extremely crowded and packed which makes it difficult to eat normally. Prices are also elevated
Love this place! They have great pinchos , tapas and oysters ! Food looks amazing and is delicious! Good wines and sangria as well . Really crowded though, especially in the weekend. Hard to find seats
Quite a lot of tourists but it's still a great experience! Get the sherry tasting at Sherry Corner (15€ for 6 sherries without audio guide) and some fish tapas (1€ each). It's open very late, too!
I would recommend it for your first visit to Madrid and tapas scene. Grab a glass of wine or beer and just wander from one stand to the other and try as many different tapas as you can.
Great place for a breakfast and tapas ! They sell fresh fruits , coctails and plenty of alkohol. Mini sandwiches with seafood made my day several times!
Never disappoints! Many stalls and many choices of tapas , seafood dishes , wine , sangria , desserts , etc. You name it, it's there. You can be frugal and be full or splurge and eat the night away!
You could spend the whole day here, eating tapas and drinking wine and vermouth ! I loved it in the evening as a pre-dinner snack and drinks!
One of the best places in Madrid to have a good time! The diversity of the market offerings is great! Watch out for a combination of 1€ tapas along with Sangria for 3€ or a nice beer for only 2€!
Food markets are rife in Madrid but this is a late night haven. All food on the expensive side for portions but all fresh and tasty. Selection great. Olives and mozzarella stall the best!
Fantastic place, must-visit in Madrid! Here you can find everything tourists usually look for in terms of local food - jamon , paella , tapas and many more.
A must visit when in Madrid. If you are a cheese lover then make sure you try the mozzarella and burratas :)
really delicious things (like stuffed olives with fish and/or vegetables ) to eat and tasty cider to drink but a bit overpriced. nice cozy environment . people are still not isolated from eachother.
It gets very busy, but it's definitely worth it! So many different tapas , something for everyone! And everything is great quality, loved this place!
Brave the crowds, get a glass of wine or champagne and then set off to sample the tapas and more. Amazing desserts . Indulge in the papas fritas (freshly made potato chips ).
Amazing and various tapas . Maybe not the cheapest, but definitely very tasty. Recommended for all the seafood lovers. Especially loved their octopus 🐙
This place is perfect, wonder around, try some tapas with a glass of red wine . Lovely place to have an authentic Spanish experience.
Buzzy food market , great for a quick visit but overrated. Check out the more unusual markets for more authenticity .
In my opinion this is the best place to eat in the whole city . Many delicious options for choice. It could be biggest and cheap .
Love, love, love! Absolutely try oysters here!! Best spot to eat in Madrid! A lot of small stands that you can chose from. It's a lot smaller than Boqueria in Barcelona choisewise but not bad at all.
Do not miss the Mozzarela Bar . Burrata con tomate seco, mermelada de pimiento caramelizado y cebolla crujiente is TO DIE FOR, the perfect combo.
Amazing tapas but at €1.50 per croquette , €12 for jamon and €12 for calamari , it should be amazing! Savour the sights, sounds and aromas.
Absolute favorite Mercado in Madrid. Lively and fun. Great selection of tapas and drinks so there's something for everyone and every taste. Plan to spend a few hours.
