I had an AMAZING hamburger at the "Foie " station, and got the meal for less than 8€ included fries and a beer ???????? also the gelato here was very good. Olives as appetizers were fresh and yummy!
On the second floor, in the corner, there's is this place called Foie . Great burgers . I had the duck burger ... amazing. I honestly thought it was a tourist trap but nope!
A very lovely food market in Chueca . You’ll find all kind of food stands . It’s heaven for a foodie. Certainly visit the terrace bar on top of the market .
Awesome market with food stands and common seating around an atrium. Don’t miss lunch from Islas Canarias (Canary Islands ), emphasis on cheese . The wine bar seems promising as well .
Great marketplace all around and not as hustle bustle like San Miguel - one can actually walk in leisure and enjoy the food and wine . Plus point for the rooftop .
YES! Yes! This food market totally rocks. Delicious tapas and sushi and very affordable . Little less important side fact: you can access wifi without liking everyone on Facebook
Trendy . Young crowd. Lots of fun tasty food to try from different stalls. Went on a Thursday bank holiday- busy but still able to get a seat. Good fun food and drinking for an hr or two.
Great place to eat with a lot of options to choose, one of my favorites is the greek food spot 'delitaca' everything is delicious!
Much cheaper than the more touristic markets . A bit chaotic and a lot of queue jumping but the food was to die for. Try the tinto de verano!
You can buy fresh produce in the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor you can enjoy a great meal having tapas and wine . Very nice places you can select from.

Bao buns my new favourite food. Something for everyone at this mercado. Roof terrace is awesome.
A MUST to take your friends and visitors for the authentic , gourmet, spanish gastronomic experience, or just a lovely place to spend the day on the rooftop terrace .
Great place to get whatever you need or a small snack . Food is more than delicious and not too expensive . Can totally recommend it for lunch !
Try something from every stall! Highlights: risotto de foie con hongos from "Puturru de Foie " and fresh croquettes/tapas from "Croquetas Caeseras" oh and use the free wifi to brag to all your friends
A bit more expensive than merc. San fernando. More of a 'chic ' modern feel to it. Good burgers and middle eastern dishes and a nice place to spend the evening tapeando.
Ask for the lunch menu in the terrace of the market . Or buy some iberico ham and a baguette in the first floor for the best sandwich ever.
Visit Octavio's Corner, a place conceived especially for gourmands, Octavio´s Corner is the best charcuterie in the heart of Madrid. Unforgettable variety of Spanish hams and cheese . Read more
Beautiful mercado with great food and great tapas prizes! Perfect for a lunch and San Anton is better that the San Miguel mercado. Enjoy!
A must-do while in Madrid. There are a handful of food options with a marketplace downstairs. I recommend the bruschetta from the Italy booth .
It has more of a mall atmosphere than other Spanish markets but food options and roof terrace are still pretty cool. I recommend the meat platter for 2 in the top terrace restaurant .
This is a great place to have tapas and shop. less crowded than San Miguel . More likely to run into locals here than at San Miguel .
really great market with tons of food and drink options. get their early to snag a spot outside on the second and third floor!
Small market , surprisingly above a supermarket , but with a nice variety of shops, including a nice juicery.
Definitely a must in your list. Great dood, great wines and excellent service, much sure you visit the rooftop
After dinner , I like to go downstairs and buy some fruit . Be sure to weigh it first!
Outdoor terrace restaurant on the top floor. You can get one euro toasts on the second floor.
I came by a few time during my stay in Madrid. Everything was great from the Tapas to the burger place to the desserts .
Fantastic market . 3 floors of such variety and selection! Great seating available everywhere, but the rooftop terrace is definitely the best!
Great fresh food market downstairs. Served food in tapas and restaurant form upstairs. Wonderful find full of locals.
mercato moderno con specialità culinarie e roof garden cocktail ----- modern market with culinary delights and roof garden c
Nice place to have a drink or a dish. Small but cozy rooftop . The market inside looks really good. A place to go!
Cute little market with a bunch of tapas and some gourmet foodstuffs (and a whole truffle store!)
Best place to eat fresh food or fresh tapas : best oysters , pasta , burgers ,... And there is a supermarket just underneath!
Browse, have a drink and some tapas in a very nice setting with locals mainly... better than touristy San Miguel market .
Great for eating many different tapas and other Spanish meals, but the best is having drink in the terrace
Nice place! Terrace on the roof top is filled with bars and restaurants . The market inside is just beautiful as well
Market in Chueca , in the second floor there are food stands , in the last one a beautiful restaurant with a terrace
Great place to have a snack in the middle of the day! Good choice of tapas and sea food .
Always good to hang around the terrace . Never loved the concept but it works at spring time. Not the best terrace from Madrid tho.
perfect for having an informal lunch or aperitivo with some spanish typical recipes! tapas , pinchitos, cerveza y tintos de verano!
Such a great rooftop bar and a solid restaurant to enjoy a night in Madrid.
Nice spot for a quick lunch . Fresh squeezed fruit juices are great on a warm sunny day.
This is more luxurious then other Mercados but I still find it cheap . More locals than tourists .
In the middle of Chueca. Nice small mercado and the roof top terrace is worth to visit.
Stop here for a nice fast healthy snack while enjoying a typical traditional market atmosphere
fresh sushi , really good small tapas . 1€ each
Beautiful outdoor terrace in the last floor!!
You must try the "croquetas " on the first floor and the daily menu worth a try on the restaurand "la cocina de san anton" (12euro aprox)
Lovely cocktails. I always seem to end up here for a drink when in Madrid. Don't forget to have a look around the market as well. - Alistair
Отличный винчик Albali 2006 rezerva за 3 евро с копейками. В Барселоне такой 6 стоил. А ещё можно ногу за 40 взять (Гран Резерва) - Kirill Shelepov
Nice rooftop but avoid in busy periods. 30min wait for a cocktail. - Nigel
