Few Washington nightlife places have enjoyed the notoriety of Georgetown’s Blues Alley. Since it opened in 1965, Blues Alley has touted itself as “DC’s Best Jazz Supper Club .” -- Green Guide Editor
Try and see if Carlton is working! Best server Ever! It was me and my husbands anniversary and he told the artist and we got a shout. Ohh by the way rachelle Farrell is the BOMB! 9-25-11! Best nite!
Our service was very, very slow, but the show was amazing! For the price ($35 ticket, $3.50 service fee, $12 table minimum and $10 to park nearby) it was well worth it!
Intimate live venue to catch jazz over a drink. Seems like it’s easy to just walk in. Pretty solid bookings
Food = OK (I had an app, fried shrimp ). Drinks = Small (performing artist special, thought it would be the Stacy Brooks drink but I was wrong). Atmosphere = intimate . Stacy Brooks Band rocked.
Cozy venue. Came for Syleena Johnson. Stay away from the food or use your $12 food min wisely. I sent the Spinach Dip back--soupy. The Gumbo was edible. I'll grab something to eat on my way home.

Love this place! Intimate setting with great artists and food!
Shows normally are at 8 and 10 PM. The doors open an hour before for dinner at the 8PM show. Come early for the 10 PM show because a queuing line begins before the late show. Read more
Great music and mood! The food is really terrible, try to have something to eat before you arrive.
This place is great! Not about the food though... experience good artist in a relaxed intimate environment!
Many memories from the time John Bunyan was running the club ????
Jazz on a Saturday night... While Chloé has a birthday celebration night cap with 8 of her schoolmates at the Embassy Suites!
Go early to get a table close to the stage.
Beloved blues singer Eva Cassidy used to play here...the waitresses here knew her and shared stories...damn near makes me cry...she was taken so young
Don't go showing up early or anything. If you're checking out the late set, your ass gets to sit outside in the cold until just before 10.
Hope you're all going to be checking-in to the Robert Glasper Trio's performance on October 10th at 8 & 10pm! Give us a shout if you are (@AMIagency)!
Great artist ,good food romantic cozy place
For the premier acts get there 30 minutes before showtime. You may wait but you get your choice of seat.
Had the salmon last week, amazing. Had some crab cake with cheese sent it back, didn't have any crab sent it back. Do not order, foul.

Founded in 1965, Blues Alley is the nation's oldest continuing jazz supper club , having showcased internationally renowned concert hall artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Sarah Vaughan, & Nancy Wilson.
Way overpriced food, tickets are usually too high, but intimate venue for good shows.
Rude cunt of a drunk last birthday here. Never again. Food was bland.
