Husband and wife chef duo Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi met while cooking at New York’s illustrious Alain Ducasse at Essex House. While both chefs have a different point of view, their tastes blend together to create modern, creative and seamless cuisine in their restaurants, Joule and Revel.

I can't share enough praise for the Dungeness crab noodles , but also be sure to check what their house soju is for the night and you HAVE to get dessert or you don't get the full experience.
Rice bowls & Ambiance. Great for a date. Lively athmosphere with fresh fusion food. A Seattle must. Eat at the end corner of the butcher block counter and watch the chefs in the open kitchen .
This place has a very cool atmosphere and the Lady Gardner drink( or I think that's what it was called) is awesome! The tuna and short rib rice bowls are excellent! VERY GOOD FOOD, and decent prices.
They make their pasta noodles in house - the king crab noodle bowl was very tasty, but my favorite was the dense chocolate brownie with toasted marshmallow
The beef dumplings were outstanding. They redefined dumplings for me. Brown sugar ice cream dessert is simple but also delicious.
Dine at the butcher block bar and watch the chefs do their magic. The food here is simply amazing. Try one of their rice bowls for sure.
Noodles , pancakes , dumplings , and rice dishes are on offer at this Korean-influenced restaurant . Weekend brunch means Revel Ramen , with kimchi the key.
Short ribs and rice was really good! I asked for the short ribs to be cooked medium rare and it was perfect! Bing su was also really good, but smaller than expected
Sat at the butcher block table and had a fantastic meal. Corned lamb salad was delicious and the short rib rice bowl was a super hearty meal .
This place was bomb. Try the tofu rice bowl (vegan wout the egg ). Incredible combo of flavors in this dish.
Short rib dumpling and the pancake were so good. Lemongrass beef noodle also really good. Mix it all together with their sauces... Truly great!
Perfect for groups of friends because it's encouraged to share everything with the people at your table. Interesting drink choices and menu to choose from.
A lot flavors in their dishes. Try to find a good balance of fresh ingredients and meats and you will make the meal more enjoyable. The miso paste sauces is great and reminds me of Korea
I've never been crazy about Korean food until I ate here. Every single thing we had was incredible, we couldn't stop raving about how good it was.
The food!! The cod dish was delicious as well as the potstickers . Great drinks too!!
My favorite Asian fusion food in Seattle area. Though it has a very short list on the menu, but it won't go wrong even you randomly order anything, because everything is good!
Revel is a very good restaurant . Every single one of your meals is so wonderful that i will forget everything but i never forget teste of it. Thank you.
Totally great. We has the crab noodles , short rib dumplings , and shrimp pancakes . Cool space, too.
Nice staff and place, good for brunch . We order pork katsu with biscuits and lamen. Everything was delicious! Just the pound cake was little bit bland.
The revel brunch with bacon steak is amazing but the bacon is pretty oily and heavy so you'll either love it till the end of have too much of it in the end
This follow-up to Joule is casual , largely Asian street food inspired and a fantastic (reasonably priced) experience for brunch , lunch or dinner . Get cocktails at Quoin after dinner . [Eater 38 Member] Read more
Atmosphere and service was great. We sat at the counter and watched the entire cooking process from our seats. However, this is definitely a fusion restaurant ... Absolutely not authentic Korean.
Amazing follow up to Joule. Try the Tofu with Chinese Broccoli , all of the dumplings and pancakes ... and which ever speciality cocktail strikes your fancy (for me, anything with St. Germaine)
Delicious small plate dining. Big flavors even if you stick with the veggie dishes . For seafood eaters, the crab noodles are rich and really really good.
Soba noodle and tuna rice are awesome! They could get very crowded and no reservation taken for party less than 6.
The vegetarian rice is amazing and so are the noodles . Cater well to big group dinners . Staff is super friendly . Food cost is relatively good.
Two words: crab bowl. Delish! Great place to try lots of small plates with a small group or a couple out for a night.
The Potatas Bravas dumplings were a little too heavy for me, but the pork ones were fantastic. Great vibe that seems good for an individual, couple, or group.
Family-style portions! Don't miss the Dungeness crab noodles or short rib dumplings .
On hot days try the Lazy Gardener for a refreshing drink . Great vibe, love the butcher block bar . Veggie/vegan options won't disappoint.
Love the short rib bowl!!!! And kimchi pancake and the pork blood dumplings ????????????????
Amazing food! Loved the Pork Noodles ! Veggie dumplings were really good and the Kimchi was lovely as well .
Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but highly recommend the Roasted Duck Tea Noodles , Short Rib Rice , and the Short Rib Dumplings !
The single best thing to happen to Seattle dining in the last year was the launch of this stark, lively shot of Korean-Asian street food in Fremont: brainchild of chefs Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi. Read more
Don't be scared of the phrase "corned lamb " this salad was phenomenal. Just spicy enough yet light enough to accompany any if their other amazing dishes... Dumplings !
Everything here was so delicious, but my favorites were the pork belly pancake and mochi donut !
I ordered the ramen which was fantastic, but I had a chance to try the short ribs ...they were amazing. Would definitely suggest it
Pork belly pancake (and the sauces!), shirt rib dumplings and short rib rice with yolk !
Try the Pork Belly w/ kimchi & bean sprouts pancakes , or the FiveSpiced Duck Balls w/ lacinato kale & smoked chili Noodles and then go and watch this husband and wife team kill it on Iron Chef Read more
Brunch - DanDan noodles with chili and eggplant
Came for brunch and tried the omurice, spam rice bowl & dandan noodles , and it was just OK. Had unique and inventive fusion options but none blew me away.
The BBQ pork monkey bread is the best ever. But they ran out of stock this time. Had this cardamom monkey bread and it tastes sweet. Yummy too!
Kimchi bloody mary (duh), shrimp toast , mushroom porridge , pork katsu , all the baked goods .
The desserts (earl grey chocolate mousse with blood orange & cacao panna cotta with pineapple ) were delicious! Way better than the main dishes.
The dungeness crab pasta is one of the 10 best dishes in all of Seattle.
Their brunch menu is much shorter than lunch/dinner. Always order the short rib dumplings and crab noodles
Love is a dungeness crab noodle , a short rib rice , and a side of daikon kimchi .
Everything is pretty amazing, but there is a special place in my heart for the Oxtail Hot Pot .
We came here another day for brunch . The Dan Dan noodle is epic!
The shrimp and long bean salad is great, the short ribs were perfectly cooked, and the custard is so flavorful
