Saramago museum , great collection. Read his letter to his grandma, it's painfully beautiful and they have it on many languages upstairs.
If you are Jose Saramago fan, you need to see this place. The tree under which Jose wrote his poems was heart-breaking. RIP Jose Saramago.
It's a really good looking historic site . Did you know that they are supposed to be "Diamonds"?
The archeological exhibition on ground floor is very interesting. The part dedicated to Saramago is more like a nod to his career, nothing unmissable.

Casa da Esposa do Saramago...
Unique space where boat roapes were made up until 1992, which explains the huge length if the building. It now holds an array of exhibitions throughout the year. - Ana Costa
Interesting museum, you get to learn the history of fado and listen to different singers and styles of fado. Well worth the 5€ fee. - Tiina Rajasalo
Very nice museum about Pessoa. If you enjoy his poetry, this is a must go. - Mari S.
Lovely place for a walk and to enjoy a good meal with a view. Plenty of different restaurants and close to shops downtown. - Inês Pinto
The cathedral looks and feels so old. The balcony affords a beautiful view from the top. - Karen
Cute little church on the hill. It's worth checking out the interior, but also not super spectacular. There are lots of beggars on the church steps ???? - Beth Gossip
