These are the best dumplings in Sydney . Abandon your trip to Din Tai Fung and be prepared to not wait in a queue. Xiao Long Boa is delicious, fried pork + chive delectable. The pancakes !!!
Love this restaurant for all their dumplings and dishes. Being Shanghainese, this is the real deal. Pan friend bao 's are the best!!
The food is crispy and fresh and delicious, the staff were friendly , and the free fruit was excellent
Too BUSY? Head to their other store in Lemon Grove (427 Victoria Ave). Love the pan fried dumplings & the crispy skin chicken . Organise your next hangout here using http://Chillwith.me
Xiao long bao are well priced and decent. Not the best but good enough to get me back again
Some of the best dumplings in Sydney . Xiao Long Bao give Din Tai Fung a run for their money!
Inside Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre. Always busy. Pros: Fresh dumplings . Indoor Carpark. Takes Credit Cards . Cons: Tea =$. Queue=long. Service=Poor.
The pan fried soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao ) are insanely hot but very delicious.
Solid place to go for some good dumplings . The decor is nice. Service is quite poor but the xaio long bao is well worth it.
That was delicious ???? I have fried rice and dumplings
Steamed dumplings one of the best in sydney. The one in the Chase is better than the one in Lemon Grove .
there's usually almost always a queue to get in, but so worth the wait. get the steamed mini pork buns
New Shangai Xiao Long Bao , best dumplings in Sydney
Service pretty bad these days but the food is still good. Great pea shoots
Great soup dumplings , with garlic veges .
Very good Pork dumplings
You MUST order a 201 and 512 each time you go. Vary the other dishes but never leave these two off the table!
Yummy braised pork belly and combination fried rice
Xiao Long Bao and beef noodle soup were both disappointing. Nothing compare to Ding Tai Feng.... Sheng Jian Bao was good and so was the hot and sour soup .
If u want any of the pan fried dim sims , order it as soon as you sit down. It's always a long wait , but worth it
Pan fried pork buns take a while but are worth the wait.
The food is in most cases excellent. Steamed mini pork bun is really good (but hot - take care).
Doughy pot stickers , fried unevenly. 小籠包was ok. Nice, thin skin, lots of soup but bad meat quality. A solid 5/10. Won't come back.
Recent visit. service almost non existence. Have to ask everything 3 times. Food is slow. waiter either don't hear you or they heard you but not care.charge $1 for visa or mastercard 2% for Amex.
Shepherds purse wontons ????????????
Best dumplings in town !
If there is a long queue, New Shanghai has another restaurant at the nearby Lemon Grove shopping centre (10 mins walk)
Best salted egg w prawns ! Which is 606!
If u order 505. Si Chuan style sauce stir fri , be sure to get some chilli to mix in
Surprisingly fast and friendly service !
the Salt and Pepper Calamari is fantastic.
Pan Fried Pork Dumplings are so good!!
Pork belly for the win
dont order pork rib in vinegar sauce its too cold felt like right out from the fridge
#203 pan fried pork bun
Love the deep fried crispy chicken & sauce (#515)!!!!!!
Red bean pancake , xiaolongbao shenjianbao and guotie is good.
A restaurant that closes at 8pm on a Sunday is not truly in the food business.
Try the pumpkin dumplings . Delicious.
Best mini steamed pork dumplings in Sydney !
Food is pretty good but too bad almost all the staff here hate their jobs. Service is shocking
The Xiao Long Bao here are great - also quite cheap .
