Stop here if you want information on the Park as the Park itself does not have a manned center. The Rangers here are super helpful and can provide some great recommendations. It can get crowded !
Grab some maps and if you don't have water get a cold bottle here as well (it's cheaper than across the street). They also have a seating area with an informational video as well .
A must stop before entering the park ! Get a free map . Cheap water....did I say cheap water. Can never have too much!
Joshua Tree is one of the most special and unique places on earth. Worth a visit any time a year.

There are restrooms here, despite the signs saying that there aren’t. :-)
They don't tell you that the Cholla Garden is very dangerous. If you stop there, make sure you keep your kids with you. The spines of the cholla can embed themselves into your flesh.It's very painful.
Get a free map and buy some Joshua Tree seeds on your way back home!
You will get good informstion about the park . You can buy water for just one dollar.
Good visitor center to stop at before entering the park . Very knowledgeable rangers .
If you love Joshua tree...buy the annual pass. Just $30 gets you in all year.

Remember that dogs are allowed in the park but not on the trails !
