Dating back to the 1940s, this quirky place was built to be used as a permanent set for Western films . Now a few of the buildings are stores and a fully-functional post office .
Go to the book sale in the barn & take in that magnificent old book scent. Browse slowly & discover out of print gems here. Be sure to chat up the owner, he's an old soul w/ tons of fabulous tales.
Originally built as a movie set for old time Westerns, you can check out the shops and installation art spread about the property. Near Pappy and Harriets...
I think it’s really great how authentic this place looks. Went in December and loved the Christmas lights they had up. Nice bar here too!
Make sure you visit when the stores are all open, if you don’t it’s actually a ghost town not just a pioneer town.
Everything is closed on Tuesdays in the summer, even if there is a concert .
A great walk into the past of Old Hollywood with great local artists .
There is not really anything to see. A tiny street with some tourist tat shops with a car park .
Free to look around. Good for kids but mind the hipsters .

Amazing place to visit. Tons of hiking and camping. Surprisingly, many birds amongst the park as well. Many photos taken. Guide was Walker Wadkins, very knowledgeable. - Walker Wadkins
