The decor, music , food, drinks and location and staff really lovely and helpful - Small suggestion to improve would be to have blankets for those sitting outside when its cooler /windy in the evening

Traditional pub . It's a bit pricey but offset by indoor views of the river and an outdoor (uncovered) seating area beside the Thames at Greenwich Reach. Good seafood and beer .

This is a great place to watch the Thames traffic move past, which is exactly what Charles Dickens and William Gladstone came here for. The current building dates from 1837.

Best fish ‘n’ chips from my entire trip are here, wonderful views of London and the river .

21 October: Drink with Nelson on Trafalgar Day. Built the year Victoria came to the throne, the Tavern was once at the forefront of naval history, attracting high-profile visitors such as Gladstone .

Since another management change the Traf has improved. The food remains average and the drinks expensive , but service better. That view is stunning though, and plenty of outdoor summer seating.

Good selection of Meantime beers , lots of Pimms and a great view !

The best pub by the river thames in Greenwhich area.

Don't bother. £4.25 for a pint? Cheaper in the City ! Service is crap. Had to get up and go to the bar and get our own drinks, and we were sat in the restaurant with non-existent table service.
