Don't be put off by a less than stellar 4square rating. This pub has since been overhauled with meantime and craft beers and a new chef serving gastro. Combined with its riverside location it's a hit.

Kelly Heung

Good ambient with superb view of River Thames ! Had a relaxing meal upstairs. Can also get beer downstairs!

Julia Kate

Lovely cosy pub with friendly staff . Trivia on Wednesday nights is great fun. Excellent view of 02 etc & perfect in spring/summer.

Fernanda Odilla

Everything is good in this charming pub by the river . The restaurant upstairs offers different fishes . Try the haddock . Good wine menu too.

Nick Brackenbury

Incredible old-pub atmosphere, friendly staff , delicious food, and relatively affordable . Can't beat it as pubs south of the river go.

Righi Travel Like a Local

Great Georgian pub outside the busy touristic area. Cosy inside and tables by the Thames for a sunny day. Good beers and friendly staff .

Vic McGin

Delightful view , with perfect fish and chips . Fab place to take the parents when visiting Greenwich, with very attentive service .

Vicky Noden

Like this pub a lot. Great sitting by the river on a sunny day. Or in the window upstairs the rest of the time. You have to order food and drink separately. They need more mid-range lunch options.

Shelley C

Great buzzy atmosphere in lovely old pub . Sunday lunch large and pretty good. Try to get a table by the window.

Matt Hanson

Great food, cosy interior, above average menu, Meantime beers

Colin Palgrave

The Padron peppers starter was great, and also my main of sausage and mash with crispy shallots

Luke Stanley

Great spot for food or a pint by the river on a sunny day. Very traditional pub .

Steve McCool

Lovely spot, nice interior, friendly service and food was lovely. A perfect spot for lunch ....and going to try dinner soon.

Na-Dene

Food is average, but the position and view of the sunset over the Thames makes up for it. Great place to spend a sunny day or evening

Andrew Welch

One of the higher quality pubs that I’ve been to in London. Might have to become a regular here ????

Emma Cheung

Lovely atmosphere and yummy roast! I think it's great that dogs are allowed here too which adds to the entertainment. Call ahead to book for the restaurant though - it gets pretty busy on a Sunday

Caroline Walker

It's a fantastic pub , excellent good, friendly and helpful staff . The view isn't bad either!

Jenna Anderson

It is a very beautiful pub with good food. It's a great place to cap off a day in Greenwich.

Gavin Martin

Just one of the magic spots. Do go there. Must be on lay lines or something! (Staff aren't happy though which can be a mood Hoover)

Gregory Winer

Recent remodel and focus on gastro makes this hidden gem alongside the Thames a worthy diversion.

Pablo

Good beers and good food. Pretty cool when the weather is nice as you can drink by the dirty old river .

Ben Taylor

If you're going to eat here at the weekend then you should book in advance.

Louise Hayn

You can't go to the top anymore. Such a shame as it was a great view but it's all blocked up now. Just a regular pub now.

María

They don't do Pimm's, but their Sipsmith Summer Cup is not bad at all! Enjoy it in the sun.

Alex Smith

Bit of a further walk from Central Greenwich , but easily the best pub around.

Nigel Red

Make sure to call ahead, too bad we couldn't find place on Wednesday night, it seems lovely.

Evina Diam

I tried to potato and leek soup and it was very tasty!

Heli Heartland

Go all the way to the top floor. The scenery will reward you!!

Ideal pub for comfort food and drinks after a walk along the Thames .

Lovely atmosphere, great food and very kid friendly .

They have outdoor tables right by the river . Very good pub menu at good prices.

Stephen Crocker

A bit cramped. The toilets are labelled Buoys and Gulls.

Funda Cizgenakad

Great sunny spot and better than central Greenwich pubs

Tyom Semonov

The Fish & Chips was top quality.

Eddie Sharkey

Look for the secret drawer in one of the tables upstairs which contains random letters and notes by randomers

Bland food and terribly overpriced. Poor slow service too. I don't understand why everyone raves about this shithole
