Mountain Lake Park is a park San Francisco San Francisco County located in United States.
Mountain Lake Park (off Lake St) San Francisco , CA 94118 United States
This beautiful park has it all: an old-school exercise course, dog run , tennis courts , walking trails , and, of course, a natural lake . You can even rent out the covered pavilion for birthday parties!
Great dog run on one side, tennis courts and awesome playground on the other. Family friendly rolling grass in between.Take the walk around the 'lake ' which ends up near the new Presidio Landmark .
There is a mini Lake Beach and a great field to bring your dogs or just to just kick it😀
Go early and avoid all the hipsters . Take the stairs over to the Presidio.
Very peaceful . Great place to work from too.
Par Course , a Lake with ducks, a dog run , non rapey bathrooms . Everything a great city park needs.
Note: they have a decent-size concrete slide built into a hill .
The concrete slide is fun. You don't need to use corrugated cardboard to ride this slide !
Hidden gem off of Lake Street.
There is a water fountain for both people and pooches at the 9th Ave. park entrance.
Do the PAR course to get a good workout in. Or bring some bread to feed the ducks.
Always pretty in the fog! Though more fun for kiddos in the sunshine
one of my favorite places to run with my dog!
Head here after picking up some dim sum to go.
Great walking paths .
Watch out for Coyotes! 🐺
Bring a burrito , a buddy, and lawn chairs.
Walk the dog. Walk the kids. Walk yourself.
Unleash dog play area
Bathrooms are by the playground , not the dog park .
Watch for broken glass in the sand :-/
Outside the dog run , dogs *must* be leashed.

Beautiful Park! Different areas with fun things to do as well as just nature definitely a Zen spot in the middle of a big city - Rebeca Garcia
One of my absolute favorite places in San Fran! Gorgeous views, dog friendly, perfect for a long walk/picnic/run. Always a bit chilly/windy so plan accordingly. Tons of history, architecture, etc. - Lacey Capps
On warm sunny days this is sometimes a good place to watch hawks ride thermals off the hillside. - Jeffrey G
