Grab a seat on the bench below trail . Amazing view when it isn't foggy.
On warm sunny days this is sometimes a good place to watch hawks ride thermals off the hillside.
Great sunset views from Sutro Tower to the golden domes of the Russian Orthodox Holy Virgin Cathedral (Joy of all Who Sorrow) through to Baker Beach and across to the headlands.
