The second floor Renaissance and European ceramics were my favourite! There's a video on how many of the beautiful pieces are created, would highly suggest that everyone watch that too.
Drop in pottery class . Show up early to stand in line to get a number to wait to buy a ticket to wait to get in.

Sunday "family day" is awesome, with lots of activities for the kids to keep them busy. Scavenger hunt , clay making and crafts.
I was little disappointed with the pottery class . Instructors are great, but they have no time for everyone there. The instructions are brief so you have no idea you are doing something wrong ????
The Pre-Colombian collection is the most intriguing and interesting of the lot

I was not impressed. At least 1/3 of the museum was closed for renovation or exhibition instalment and no alterations to price of admission .
Have brunch at the restaurant for a fucking classy ass experience.
There's a Picasso in the contemporary gallery !
fun seeing the well decorated Christmas trees and more with the kids
Gardiner Museum temporarily closed its doors in 2003 to undergo an expansion which allowed for a strategic addition of 14,000 square feet. Come visit us during Doors Open on May 25-26th, 2013.

It’s only just opened, but the new MOCA looks promising. A vast, converted industrial space and programming that looks like it will be adventurous and diverse. - Nuff
Spent an afternoon here and pretty good exhibitions, there are some workshops based on the context of each exhibition too which sounds fun - Ghazal Salehi
The best thing about this museum is the architecture, it is a lovely building. If you are visiting Toronto, make sure to stop by for a visit. Mixed feelings about their collection in view. - Rebecca Raia
Love the hands on area and the bat cave - this is a museum for adults and kids! Definitely, good value if you take family membership! - Alina D
If you are looking for a poutine with beef gravy and cheese curds you are in the wrong place. There's enough cheese to not over power the great taste of the fries with lots of beef over the top. - QQcumber
