It boggles the mind the amount of detail in the Textile Museum 's objects. Especially, since many of them date from the 17th century.
Spent an afternoon here and pretty good exhibitions , there are some workshops based on the context of each exhibition too which sounds fun
Before you go, check what exhibitions are currently running (some exhibitions will feature items from the collection), or you may be disappointed.
Items in collection dating back two millennia. Unfortunately, there's no exhibition featuring the permanent collection & when I was there only 3 items were displayed at the workroom
Founded in 1975, this museum tells the different stories of textiles from Canada and all over the world. Exhibitions of artifacts such as quilts, fabrics, and carpets await all visitors.
If you visit on Wednesdays after 5 pm you can pay what you can !
Tapestry of Stitch. The Torah Stitch By Stitch is particularly good.
